  1. I believe the noise level is lower due to when Field Turf was installed. The turf has millions to tiny rubber pellets inside it, and that rubber absorbs the sound coming at it. Before field turf, we had AstroTurf over cement, and the sound of the crowd would bounce off this cement, and echo back inside the stadium. I'll bet it has cut the noise level by 25-30%?
  2. Please note that the number on the player in the first post is No. 5, Dante Moore's number....and Young was indicating that Moore was committed. The number that Young wears is No. 9...and I'm sure he took it all down to prevent further confusion.
  3. You were taking the facts as a personal upfront. Nobody was putting down private equity, but the fact is $1 billion for 15% ownership into the Pac 12 media rights, would have been a boon to the Pac 12, and a boondoggle to those who invested. Do you disagree with that?
  4. He made so many millions off the Pac12 for so little, and I’m sure he is realizing he should shut the “blank” up now. Everyone, see how we can avoid that word if we want to?
  5. It is true that they could have wanted more money, but a BILLION for only 15% stake is pretty darn good. I cannot believe that Larry made this happen...or that our presidents declined it!
  6. No. 21 on Rivals, while looking prettay, prettay good with only 11 verbals thus far. 2023 Team Rankings N.RIVALS.COM The definitive source for all Rivals news. And we moved ahead of Washington! How did that happen?
  7. Look...I dislike Larry Scott as much as anyone else...but he pulled this together and the idiot school presidents turned down a BILLION? For only 15% equity? Good grief, Larry pulled off the "Con-of-the-Century" if the presidents had agreed to it. He really fooled the private equity people, but.... Canzano: Pac-12 turned down $1B offer to sell equity stake in conference WWW.JOHNCANZANO.COM Conference ADs say they're galvanized. How much do they get paid? And they're smarter than us?
  8. The article hints that the loss of the Cowboys could be a fatal blow to the Big-12, and perhaps the Pac-12 could attract a few Big-12 members to join us?
  9. Add this breadcrumb from Coach Locklyn....(provided by David Marsh in another thread) I like the TV shows our coaches watch!
  10. My friends....I was just sent this by OBD member mrspenny--how Richard Young has changed his Instagram to where he is wearing an Oregon uniform? (Green arrow is my addition)
  11. Big-12 is Europe in the Risk Game....hard to hold and attacked from all directions. The Pac-12 is like North America...you get a decent number of armies for holding, but rarely do you win starting from that position?
  12. I do not think we are paying top-NIL-dollar... Oregon Will Not Pay Top-NIL for QBs: Should They? FISHDUCK.COM I was reading on another Oregon site and received some disconcerting news: Oregon is not in the top NIL bidding for the best of the 2023 quarterback recruits.
  13. Whew! "Getting out there and seeing the facilities, the best facilities in the country, I believe," Moore said. "Everything is updated and [Nike founder] Phil Knight has put so much money into the university. Everything that's at the university is going to help. People that go to Oregon get the best throughout their whole process of being there because they have every tool you need to better yourself."
  14. Well, if that happened....I cannot even imagine the reaction from Oregon fans. Talk about a roller-coaster of emotions these days!
  15. If I am a recruit on offense...between what you hear of what Dillingham wants to do, and now a QB is there who is special? Sign me up! C'mon...You Should Be Dancing! (Gosh I loved the BeeGees)
  16. Great humor makes you laugh and cringe at the same time. I Axel....
  17. Wow. Will you admit that you would have suggested Oregon to leave with a difference of that much? "Former Fox Sports Network president Bob Thompson estimates that the Pac-12 would have commanded a $500 million-a-year television deal in the next round of media rights negotiations. That would have given each Pac-12 member an annual distribution of $41.6 million. With the move to the Big Ten, USC and UCLA will receive more than $71 million annually."
  18. Let's see...when was the Dante Moore announcement time and channel? (9:00 AM to 10:00 AM PST on ESPN, Friday) And which coach would benefit the most? Gotta love a coach with a sense of humor...(The reruns are Notre Dame and Michigan, while The Price is Right... is Texas ATM!)
  19. Oregon is ahead of USC and UCLA? And Miami, Florida and Notre Dame?
  20. Good! Oregon softball adds former state 6A Player of the Year Alyssa Daniell WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM Daniell, a native of Happy Valley, is coming to UO after beginning her career at Loyola Marymount. Softball Welcomes Three Transfers - University of Oregon Athletics GODUCKS.COM Joining the team are a two-time Southern Conference pitcher of the year, a two-time all-West Coast Conference honoree and a starting outfielder from a Duke squad that advanced to the 2022 NCAA...
  21. While the onside kick was a questionable call...the bottom line is that Oregon still had to execute. How did Paysinger get 10 yards open on a 20 yard pattern...and so easily? To preserve the win...Oregon had to BLOCK the OU field goal? Oregon had to earn that victory as well.
  22. When he left....no "thanks" on Twitter to the fans or to Cristobal. He just got-the-heck out of town as fast as he could. I believe he was constrained by you-know-who as Moorhead was.
