The implications are vast if true... --the beginning of the end of the Pac-12? --it pushes Oregon to take a pared down revenue stream to join the B1G? --the Pac-12 continues by adding San Diego State to replace Colorado? --perhaps a ten-way split is another solution to the revenue issue? A return to the Pac-10? As if this subject was not tiring enough for us, and now this?

This article, to me, is outstanding analysis. I planned to watch the Spring Game with eyes on the linebackers in terms of run-support, but now I will look for the coverage and the missed interceptions as well. Good receiver, not a great one. Does not have breakaway speed, but does have sure hands. Because his older brother was a star at USC and is now in the NFL...he has a much higher opinion of his abilities than they actually are. When he left Oregon...it was before Cristobal left, and his objections to the offense were justified at that time. But he will be a squeaky wheel, and if things don't go his way...(this is his THIRD school, and that tells you something too) He will be a good second-tier receiver for you, and with his experience could be valuable on key third downs. Pittman in 2019...

I love being the underdog, while returning 15 starters and a TON of high-impact portal transfers. Let them promote the Huskies, (pardon me while I turn to spit) and the Trojans. It will make our season that much sweeter..

Hello CamaroDMD, it is great to see you join us, and do post your thoughts often. WELCOME! As for your helmet question...whew! You stumped me, and I've been kind of a uniform junkie over the years. I agree with you in that I've seen the Apple-Green "O" on white practice, and the darker green "O" on white helmets such as the Dennis Dixon in your avatar I popped in for you. But a yellow "O"? I do not recall it at all. I have to assume that it either was a short-lived practice helmet, or it was an experiment for a while. About 17 years ago...a few players were practicing with a helmet that changed color when the light hit it...like a Mallard Duck head! It went from green to blue or vice-versa, and I wrote about it in one of my "Fish Reports" at that time, but it was an experiment that did not fly apparently. Well....Marcus did not start that way, IMHO. I cannot tell you how many times in 2012, and even 2013...I would shout at the TV for Marcus to stay in the pocket and look downfield! Often, he would leave the pocket early and roll-out to his right, run out of room/receivers and throw the ball away. If he had waited longer... This is a common problem with young QBs, as it takes time to develop the pocket presence Marcus had in 2014.

The tight end sure puts a ton of stress on the DE/OLB over him on the line of scrimmage. The defender has to fend off a block, and in the process makes it easy for the TE to peel off as he did. By the time the ILB comes over--it is too late. Get an athletic TE out there and you have the good gains we saw on that play. Some good pass plays can come from the Pistol, and I thank you Coach, for bringing them to us! Patrick Herbert is going to score!
