  1. It feels like we're being set up for a major.... (read below and then YOU finish the word) REACTION: Twitter Reacts to Ducks, Head-to-Head Controversy in Latest CFP Standings by Zachary Neel of Duck Wire
  2. No sweat. I really appreciate people posting articles for everyone else and this will happen on occasion. It is a GREAT problem to have!
  3. I do not share everyone's optimism. I see this as a close high-scoring game...
  4. I NEVER thought I would see that sentence written, and my hat is off to him and the coaches. It reminds me of Alex Serna at Oregon State, when as a freshman he missed three extra points at LSU to deny the Beavers a victory there. I remember writing at the time that I'd get a walk-on kicker lined up immediately and he should just be dropped.... Then he goes on later to win the Lou Groza award and show what I know!
  5. You know....sometimes I think Coach Boles, Haywarduck and Yours-Truly could provide a much more informative and entertaining broadcast than most of what we hear...
  6. To beat the next three teams...we need to have a longer passing game to get the box unclogged. The defensive game-plan against Oregon is simple... I just don't know that he can do that.
  7. Darren....that is a GREAT read, and so fun for us Oregon fans to experience through you. As much as they like Peterson....he was 2-4 against the Ducks. I could live with that! And I loved your picture and caption...
  8. And I think your options are "good-or-good-or-good!"
  9. The women are not on TV, but can be watched on your computer via live stream from GoDucks.com. Go to the schedule right here, and then click on the link provided for the game.
  10. And THAT is a big problem right now, of the pass coverage of the LBs. Not only can he help there, but he is an ideal "Spy" to reign-in the mobile QBs.
  11. Agreed. It was a little tongue-in-cheek about how disrespected anything west is by the sports establishment. Although I cannot complain about being No. 4, and probably moving up this week.
  12. We're moving up in the world! Below is what it was last week.... And Richard....thanks for posting an article for everyone to read and since you new...WELCOME!
  13. 14. That is not how the play is designed, but just how it went with where the defense flowed, and the speed of Brown. It is an Inverted Veer play, and while Coach Boles has covered it--I may want to break down how it worked so well here and the TD called back in the Colorado game.
  15. A game between two lame-duck coaches? Can they both lose? I WANT Washington to win and keep Lake on-board!
  16. That picture you inserted is PERFECT! This is one of those, "bad-or-bad" decisions, although they BOTH could teach that Master Class in "How to Be a Bad Coach!"
  17. This was really, really good. THANKS Utah, as I never get enough analysis from you!
  18. Right. I left that off because it did not matter. My point is that playing Arkansas, Auburn and Georgia are more difficult than what the Ducks face--even if we stuck in a New Mexico State in between in our schedule as well. IMHO.
  19. Thanks for posting this and....we're going to build that depth!
  20. Oh, I like the thought process on this Playoff Ranking prediction; think it will happen Tuesday night? Predicting the College Football Playoff Rankings After a Chaotic Week 10 by Zachary Neel of Ducks Wire
  21. When it comes to playing the Huskies--the records mean nothing because of my irrational hatred for them. I want to beat them so bad, that it clouds my perceptions and truth-be-told...I will not be able to truly analyze the game for another couple of days when the emotion drifts away, and I can be more objective in my assessment. For now, the tension of the got-to-win-the-game has passed, and now I am easing into a gosh-it-feels-good-to-beat-the-Huskies mode. From extreme anxiousness, to a mellow glow of satisfaction and basking in the warm thoughts of beating those bas***ds. What are your Monday feelings after the victory, from a true internal standpoint? (Not the team, standings, etc. What is going on inside you today?)
  22. Agreed, and between doubling them up, and running for 329 yards in a driving rainstorm--that total picture then looks like a top-four team. And that is what the score should have been.... Although that would have left about two minutes left, and I was fantasizing that Morris would throw a pick-six to us and the final score would have been 38-16...which is what I predicted. A fella can dream!
  23. Sure...until he loses a game to an unranked opponent that he is heavily favored against (14 point line vs. WSU) again. Losing to a 5-5 ASU team in 2019, then woeful Cal and Oregon State teams last year followed by losing to a horrible Stanford team in 2021? Some would say that is a trend, and there is pressure on him, I believe, to win every game remaining because he can.
  24. Wow. That is what you want; an offensive lineman throwing a Husky linebacker to the ground. It is simply another version of a "pancake" block, and another example of how the league own officiating is hurting our conference. Those extra points may have really meant something on another week where other teams ahead and behind us in the rankings did better, and you cannot have bogus calls by our own conference officials. Cristobal has torqued off somebody, somewhere, as this looks like the bias that Chip dealt with in his relationship with the media.
