  1. Welcome to Our Beloved Ducks Forum.. Please feel free to browse around and get to know the others. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

  2. Every year is make or break for someone in football. Whether it is a head coach on the hot seat, a QB with a chance to start, or a veteran skill position player trying to hold off someone younger and more talented, every year brings a plethora of storylines for every team. With the benefit of hindsight we can now ... Read the full article here...
  3. OK...you have a sense of humor that I like already!
  4. I don't know which is better...celebrating Oregon on top or Washington looking up at us! I......AM.....Relevant!
  5. Great example of a player having a career night and hard to stop...as the Ducks had versus UCLA. Thanks for reminding us of the Graves connection--you have to be happy for her. (Although that will help her recruiting and make the conference even tougher?)
  6. Yep. Our rules state that we can be critical of coaches and players for decisions and performance, but we cannot get personal. In the rules as No. 26 is where I state it...
  7. Wow...talk about stunners! Not something anyone would have predicted...by a mile!
  8. I don't know why...but I don't think we have much of a chance on this one. Gut feel...
  9. Some more information about the new candidates is in this article.
  10. C'mon....you gotta admit this is funny! Another reason I love Puddles...
  11. I know that many are not a fan of John, but he does bring up some great points about the issues the conference and CFB faces. This is a very interesting article about a former Duck selling all his gear to make some money--and other fallout ramifications. Drayton Carlberg (No. 90) created this fumble against Cal...and recently has sold the jersey he is wearing!
  12. I am still rooting for Zach Arnett, although I am sure MC will bring in someone who is very talented...
  13. I was at that Toilet Bowl game as well, and was sitting with a buddy who was an OSU alum and we both left unhappy! Fun post, and thanks FIC.
  14. RatherBe, you have quickly become one of my favorite posters because of your research, writing and the reasonable approach given to your posts. Please keep offering your thoughts...
  15. We are critical analysis fans, and apparently....so are you, because your analysis above is superb explaining the weaknesses and what needs to be done. You disagree with some of us and offer solutions, and we love that here. Great posts!
  16. Amen Duck-Brother. Please watch this very short video I created nine years ago about winning the first Rose Bowl in...umpteen years. It is less than a minute and I think describes what we all feel sometimes. In fact it took several takes of simply reading the script aloud, because the first three or so times....I got emotional and could not finish. Here it is....I am Oregon.
  17. Cardwell is a six foot, 200 lb. player who is a 4-Star on Rivals. JHop on ScoopDuck is predicting he will sign with Oregon, but admits it is a tight competition for him. We need great running backs, and I'm willing give more and more the opportunity to be that guy.
  18. That has got to hurt and so remarkable at the NBA level with their long schedule. Way to win a game!
  19. Thank you Mike....er, ChicoDuck! We will be adding a big section over the next two-three months of bringing all the Oregon Sports News in one place as nobody is doing. (No site is doing even a fraction of what I have envisioned) It will be very handy for all Oregon fans, even if they do not wish to participate in the discussions. For those who do not know ChicoDuck, he is a very astute analyst of player talent and has written a ton of articles for us in the past. His schedule does not allow for the full talent analysis articles he did before, but often he will jump in with some timely thoughts about a player. He has done it on other sites and I look forward to his thoughts on this forum because we will learn from him and it will generate some great discussions. And Congrats ChicoDuck, on your Packers because with we all know about Green Bay,....I did not know about their pass rush of which is huge for having a complete team. Those defensive linemen were superb with the hand fighting and using those talents to "swim" past the offensive linemen. The next two games for your team are going to be epic ones to watch! Jake Hanson, (left) former Oregon center and now with the Green Bay Packers!
  20. This is a BIG fear of mine, one that I could not have imagined; recruit well and you win...right? Nope that is only part of it, and you have find guys with heart... We went to two Nattys with those kind of guys, so a primarily three-star team with a few 4-5 stars sprinkled in with heart can go a long ways.... GREAT observation-thanks.
