These Duck News Hunters, have volunteered to help the wonderful people of this community. At three major times during the day--we have fellow Our Beloved Ducks forum members who are checking for recent Oregon Sports News to bring to this forum. While there is not as much news now--there will be a ton this fall, and we are getting into the groove by getting started now. My objective is not to bring every article out there to the forum, but to make sure the major news is posted here. Thus it becomes fun to see what is new, and discuss it all with the good people in this community in a "Troll-Free" environment. And anything beyond that is gravy, and appreciated. Do see where many of us go for news right here, and you are quite welcome to post tasty articles as well. A Reminder about Courtesy on the "Forum With Decorum" Courtesy comes in many ways, such as being "polite and respectful" in our posts. But it also comes in making your post easier to read for fellow OBD members, by using punctuation, and hitting "enter" or "return" two spaces after three long sentences or four short sentences. Continuous text is hard to read, and site analytics tell us that people skip those posts. Learn about creating a title for your new thread right here, as it helps the fellow members and it helps the forum become suggested in a Google search, and thus more of the good people among Oregon fans can find us. Remember, you have up to an hour to edit a post. So check it, and take a few seconds to fix it if need be. This is going to be the best forum ever to read this fall! So many great Oregon fans! I cannot believe what I witnessed. This pitcher…I did not want to ever go beyond four innings, and he goes NINE? Coach Wasikowski is incredible. Now the whole staff of pitchers is available for tomorrow. If we can win tomorrow, and Oregon State wins two against UCLA, we can tie the Bruins for third in conference. We are seeing great college baseball!

To see Oregon pitching well enough to win, and to have such a big homerun, it is hard for this devoted Duck Fan to maintain composure. I don’t.

Saban lecturing Texas A&M, is the classic “pot calling the kettle black.” On one of the other forums a couple of years ago, there was a long thread of pictures of Alabama players with their shiny new gleaming cars. But I am sure there is a misunderstanding, as I’m sure Alabama has been completely straight up all the way!

My FishDuck Friends, There are three things I would love to see in this forum; 1) where it is a safe place to post, 2) some humor and fun, and 3) the Oregon Sports News of the day. We have ten moderators among us that hide the nonsense from the Trolls immediately, (Hug a Moderator!) and we have a few members who are exceptional at generating some laughs. (Don't forget the Cat Gifs!) But when it comes to Oregon Sports News...I don't need every article out there posted in the OBD forum, but I would love to see the most important daily news about Our Beloved Ducks posted here, and anything beyond that is gravy for us all.
