  1. Not many expected Noah Sewell to be this good at pass rushing, but it is another pleasant surprise on defense!

  4. I always like their takes on games and he brings up some good points. I also like his prediction, even if I think it will be closer... Washington State vs. Oregon Football Prediction and Preview by Kyle Kensing of Athlon Sports
  5. I am still basking in the glow of beating the Huskies, and Mario is 3-0 against them and is swatting away the challenges.
  6. It's at 8:00 PM tonight PST on the Pac-12 Network! The fellow in the picture above is Jacob Young, younger brother of Joseph Young who was quite an All-Star for us years back. Well Jacob looks to be bigger and thicker, but he showed us that he has the "Young" touch the other night as he was a good shooter. I love this cross-over time period between football and basketball.
  7. As you can imagine....if anyone is in full agreement with that statement--it would be me! Great to see you Notalot, and nice to have another astute view from South Carolina.
  8. Thanks Alex, as part of the fun of being a fan is watching a newbie have a game where he realizes..."I can do this. I can play at this level." After he gets that confidence--look out. We saw that happen with Bradyn Swinson and Jeffrey Bassa on the defense and it is great to see!
  9. In the process of renewing my season tickets for 2022--I told them my story and about how FishDuck and the OBD forum are 'killing-it in page views right now, and the AD came back with a ticket special to pass along. Usually it is for a local business and their employees as a way to finish out sales of tickets and it is a way of saying "thanks" to those who advertise with the Ducks and have a business relationship. My contact knew of the sites, and felt that yes, we have been Ambassadors of Oregon Football, and thus this ticket discount offer is available to all who read this post. Go to right here to buy the discounted tickets, as this break on ticket prices is applied to the Oregon State home football game, in addition to the Oregon State Mens Basketball game as well! I hope this gives you incentive to fill the stadium to cheer on Our Beloved Ducks! And have a blast singing "SHOUT" at the end of the third quarter! And watch Will Richardson and Our Beloved Ducks have a very special year!
  10. All white pants are blah....I do like a stripe!
  11. In his first couple minutes of action--he created two defensive plays! A blocked shot and he took a charge!

  18. Ha! I was going to write something about that....but refrained. Oh the memories!
  19. I really like the comparison of McGee to Marshall. If it becomes reality--the Ducks will move the offense up another notch!
  20. Sometimes we get too focused on the other party when we should be just keeping eye out for ourselves. Look the next game in the eye!
  21. There was an awkward moment when Jordan was making a transition to Ernie's track record at Oregon as a coach and he said, "the mark of a good coach is to leave the program better from where you began." Oops. Uh Jordan...he was fired. Then an image came up highlighting the Elite Eight, great players, etc. I think Jordan would have liked that back and said something about Ernie's many accomplishments at Oregon as a player and coach. Learning moment, and I would like to see them continue to see if it can work out. At least Ernie wasn't bugging his colleague about whether he had traveled to some former Soviet Republic like "someone" we know...
  22. It is a good thing that the Duck have an abundance of talent on this team! Oregon Basketball Dealing with Early Injuries This Season by Matt Prehm of Duck Territory 247
  23. I thought it was amazing and cool that Ernie and Jordan Kent were the Sportscasters for the Oregon Mens Basketball Game the other night. Jordan has really evolved into this very smooth, very likeable personality behind the mic and I always enjoy him. Ernie started out good, but kept revolving around the tough situation that Texas Southern dealt with. It was as if he needed a "cause" to promote, when we have enough of that in our real-life? Other than that I thought he made a lot of good comments. Thoughts?
