  1. So posted about this earlier today...is my timing GREAT or what? Good for him, and so grateful for his time at Oregon...
  2. This reduces the need for a portal LB, because between Boettcher and Devon Jackson--we are set at ILB with experienced players. Rotate the freshmen in, and get them ready for 2026! Devon Jackson No. 26
  3. I am trying to NOT get ahead of my skis on this, but if he returned--it would be a massive lift to the offense. In one mock draft, he is selected No. 18 overall and thus he SHOULD go to the NFL. But other mock drafts have him in the second round or worse. Offensive tackles have a long shelf life in the NFL, and adding some weight and refining his technique could put him in the top-10 draft picks next year. He has to decide in the next week... He has been so superb for OBD that I truly want what is best for him. If he STAYS.... It would be CRAZY for the Ducks.
  4. He has been a starter at USC, and played offensive guard. He is 6'6 and 297 pounds, and apparently--Oregon is a leader for him at the moment. He might be visiting SEC teams, so I thought I'd alert you to this possibility. If he came--we would finish the OL and be in good shape for next year. (We might be anyway...) Oregon's players transferring out are not proven starters, thus another reason to appreciate our coaching staff. 5. On Rivals, Oregon has one 5-Star, but is the No. 1 class in the nation at this moment! 2026 Oregon Ducks Football Commitment List OREGON.RIVALS.COM The definitive source for all Oregon news.
  6. No surprise about Harmon, as he is listed as one of the top DTs for the NFL Draft. But James? He might have made more with NIL than as a backup journeyman type of contract, IMHO. But then....I did not think Bo Nix would do so well this year. So what do I know?
  7. Annie, I should have made certain to state that taking away a husband‘s hobbies is not something that ALL women do. But in the Manosphere, where many divorced men write about their experiences, it is a very common phenomenon. And it was more than sports, because if the wife did not like the man’s dog or cat,… They would sometimes disappear, or the fellow would have to take it to a shelter. Again, not ALL women, but many do not approve of time spent on hobbies such as a forum like this. It is not a surprise that your husband was very lucky with you, as we have seen what a nice and reasonable person you are in this Message Board. Moving on!
  8. He spoke of "unfinished business" before the Husky game too...
  9. You can read the article on 247 for free right here, as I am having issues with the damn forum software again. He says he has unfinished business....
  10. Online...quite a few men have reported this, and had to give up their hobbies or sharply curtail them to keep the wife happy. And it matches with my own experience! But anyone can disagree, no sweat.
  11. Wives often don't like men to have hobbies, and will discourage them from taking part or at the minimum--frown on the "wasted time." If my "ex" had her way, FishDuck.com would have been shut down years ago, and the Our Beloved Ducks forum would have never been begun. Did I listen to her?
