  1. Is this possibly a rewarding for the hard work of the young players while resting the veterans in a long season scenario? Also the young players don't come out flat as they have something to prove even against a lesser opponent. No one wanted to see a repeat of Idaho last year and these guys came ready to play. A clear sign of who the real starters will be is in week 5. Till then it's still an audition with opportunity for resting players and developing players over the long season.
  2. O so sweet! Overrated Bamma looked like the number 45th team in the nation not number 8. Let the whining, crying and excuses fly.
  3. We'll see if these young QBs will get the chance to play more aggressively in the second half.
  4. Nice to see that he's still a matchup nightmare at the next level.
  5. Using chrome on Android and works even better than before. Thanks for your effort to continually update and make the sign better.
  6. I feel like this is fairly disingenuous, the ducks have only five starters from last year's team but they have a bunch of starters that transferred in with a lot of game experience. Almost the entire defense started last year for the ducks or their previous team with a couple exceptions. The offensive line is in the same boat and really the only positions without returning starters are QB and WR. I get that they're in a new scheme, but a senior who's got starting experience that transfers in from Northwestern or Purdue are pretty seasoned and won't make the freshman mistakes that many first-time starters would.
  7. The secondary has boatloads of incoming talent! It's been a few years since we've had a true impact player in the secondary now it looks as if we might have several. Great job by DL and the crew addressing a weak point in the defense.
  8. Nice get, this guy sounds like a mauler.
  9. Have we found a new pitch coach or have any promising prospects yet? This kid looks like a great addition but he'll need some great guidance.
  10. Great get, I hope he stays slimed down and plays at safety rather than bulking up to play line backer. It would be great to have someone who can compete with the big WRs and TEs that we've had trouble with in the past.
  11. Let's hope it's too make room for someone Waz found to bring the pitching to the next level. Hawksworth has been solid but tournament time has been a problem for the pitching staff with some big let down.
  12. Yes it was but it's insult to injury having a dog involved.
  13. This has been an frustrating game with errors, fan interference by a husky fan, batter interference all going against Oregon
  14. This is one of the few advantage of being the #1 seed, I guess, is knowing what you have to do to win and being able to get some backup pitches some tournament experience while starters get some extra days of rest going into the post season.
  15. Time for Sanford to get back in the rotation, if not injured, and build some confidence, we're going to need him in the tournament. He doesn't need to go for a lot of innings but could be a good starter or mid relief guy that goes for 3 innings. Pitching had been our weakness in past tournaments and 1 or 2 pitchers need to step up to make a deep run. Can't always put it on the offense.
  16. Way to come back and put on some runs after being down.
  17. Let's hope UCLA drops another to add a little more cushion.
  18. Let's go Ducks, make those dogs heel.
  19. Now that was an excellent weekend of baseball! Super excited for this team to go out and be able to adapt to the game. They played small ball when needed and then they went on a huge run of consistent batting to mass a 13-1 pummeling in game 2. Followed by another pitching duel in game 3. The Ducks held the Beavs to 5 runs in 3 games while they racked up 20 runs. This is a testament to some excellent pitching, feilding, batting and base running, played 3 complete game with few to little errors. Can't forget to mention the coaching. The biggest difference in the 2 close games was game strategy and the manufacturing points off of minimal hints with minimal base runners. Every part of this team was firing on all cylinders this weekend. Now go out there and do the same on Tuesday.
  20. Hope they keep it going a 3 game sweep of the number 3 team in the nation would certainly help this team move up the ranking. Go Ducks!
  21. Great game! Love seeing the bats crushing it today. Pitching had been deadly with great fielding backing up the few hits that were given up. Ducks are looking like a complete team!
  22. Ducks looking good so far! Up 2-0 in the going into the second.
