  1. Looks like the NFL is sending a clear signal that playing for clicks doesn't fly with them. Who needs the drama in the locker room?
  2. Grayson Grinsell is crushing it as of late! Good job by the bull pin tonight to finish it out. We're going to need another good showing by the pitching staff tomorrow as well. Go Ducks!
  3. The offense on this teams is amazing we have 7 batters over .300 with the next guy at .292 and a team average of .301. We have the nations leader in home runs, 73 home runs as a team with 5 players in double digits. This is a great line up of batters this year.
  4. Many of those coaches got absolutely rotated by their former team, just read all the post about Cristobal on this forum. How many of these coaches sat out the first spring practice? I think there's a line that he crossed and he is feeling the brunt of being the first high profile college player to do it. The team had already said no and he made a big public show of it by holding out of the spring game and their are consequences in college and the NFL when you try the hold out move. Had he just said I guess it's not going to work out and declared that he was opting out before the first practice his image would have been in much better shape on par with the coaches that are hated by their former team. Making it extremely public made it so the national media picked it up and there's little sympathy for the 20-year-old making 2.4 million a year that really hasn't proved anything yet. This generally works the same way in the NFL and his agents should have known this.
  5. This year's team is a home run machine!
  6. Manufacturing some runs in the second! Bats are heating up.
  7. Time for the pitchers to step up their game.
  8. Sounds like it was a great game. Wish I could have watched it but I was a little busy coaching my kids baseball team, at least it was a good trade-off. If any of you are ever in a need of a good volunteering opportunity, coaching or being an assistant coach on a little guy, baseball team is quite rewarding and is needed and greatly appreciated by all the parents. Thanks Charles for all your updates!
  9. The Ducks left 25 runners on base in the first 2 games, wow this could have looked a bit different with just a little more production on O. Of course bad pitching certainly didn't help. Thanks for the updates!
  10. Michigan? They're one of the few with the money and the need.
  11. Going to need a huge rally to overcome this one.
  12. For those of you that don't have BG1 network you can listen to it here. The Varsity Network THEVARSITYNETWORK.COM And follow the stats at. SIDEARMLiveStats UMTERPS.COM Real time live stats for your favorite team powered by SIDEARM Sports. One location for your team's Stat summaries, Individual... I really enjoy listening to the games while get my yard work done.
  13. Always hate to leave 3 stranded on base in the 4th.
  14. Thanks Jon, not only is there penalties for breaking their contract most coaches get roasted by their former team as well. There's no love for Mario around here.
  15. Unfortunately I had to work for the second half of the game, a little bit more of a nale biter than I thought it was going to be. 3 Homes in 3 innings to take the lead for the Terps was probably more than I wanted to see but the strong finish is exact the type of thing that makes for great baseball.
  16. Great pickoff on second by Grinsell!
  17. Do you think this looks good for his future in the NFL? When will these guys learn to play the long game and prove it on the field. His stats and leadership aren't even close to what top QBs are doing so maybe it a get it while you can type things or just greedy agents with bad advice. Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered.
  18. I wonder if Dana is just too old school for the modern college kid? Personally, I love him and think he's a great coach, but it has seemed that he has trouble getting buy-in from some players.
  19. I have a good friend with Iowa season tickets, if he's not to embarrassed to have a Duck fan sitting next to him maybe I'll make it out for this one. Anyone seen a game in Kinnick Stadium?
  20. I new I like this guy! Staying for his 3 year will be great for his development and after his 4th year he could be NBA ready. He has the size and quickness just needs to keep working on his Basketball IQ and polish up his skills and he could be dangerous. Reminds me of Wooten but with better advice.
  21. TT shot 53.8% from the line Florida shot 92.6% 25-27. March is all about the charity stripe.
  22. Let's hope the 3 isn't needed, last year's teams demise was jacking up 3s and running no offense. Taking it to the rim and rebound is exactly what was missing from this team.
  23. Purdue looking good as well, B1G is showing up against the best teams in the nation!
  24. Michigan is looking good so far.
  25. AZ made their free throw Oregon did not, end of story.
