  1. Dose Michigan have 3 NFL ready DBs? I don't think so, good luck stopping Penix and his NFL level WRs. With Penix pinpoint throws and the talent WRs a 50-50 ball is more like 96% ball. Hate to say this but Penix is the real deal and the best pure passer in all of college ball.
  2. I believe if we had a better kicker he would have found it less necessary to go for it. By the end of the season even I thought going for on 4th and goal was the better of 2 evals.
  3. Just one kicker short of making that happen.
  4. Stanford is up on Arizona by 15 with under 4 minutes left to play
  5. I totally agree with you. While they're at it they need to overhaul the NIL rules and probably the entire NCAA bylaws.
  6. He could be a 4 year player for that very reason, not many 6' PG getting drafted very high nowadays.
  7. One of the things I see from Shelstad is that he is the it guy that this team has been missing since Pritchard went to the NBA. Evans seams to command a lot of respect as well and he stands to make people around him better. With those 2 and Cook the future looks bright.
  8. The ducks are looking good so far. Can't believe they're holding down the middle with Evans at 6'9" 220bl and Diawara at 6'10" 265bl. To be honest Diawara is only averaging 16 minutes a game, most the time a 6'4" guard is in the 4 spot. Dana is coaching some great small ball with lots of ball movement and tenacious defence. Can't wait to have Cook and Dante back.
  9. The selection committee is breathing a sigh of relief with the way FSU is playing. Way overrated as many suspected.
  10. I always use my phone. In the past, months ago the site was loading Slow. Video ads start a little while ago and I can't recall having one pop up in the last few days. The site sealed to be loading at normal speeds for me.
  11. A dominating Safety has been a position of need in the Ducks backfield since McKinley III went to be the NFL. Can't wait to resume the history of great safeties at Oregon.
  12. I actually do this for a living, owner and chef of a restaurant in Montana.
  13. Some of the finest restaurants in the world cook their steak in a pan. First make sure it's screaming hot then seasoning your steaks right before putting them in the pan. Second make sure you sear the steak forming a nice crust flip and immediately based in butter, garlic and thyme for about 1 minute then finish in the oven till internal temp hits 112. Let rest for 5 minutes, the temp will continue to rise as you let it rest, then serve. Yes it's a French technique taught all over the world at the finest culinary institutes. That being said do I like a steak cooked over wood, you betcha. The problem is it takes a lot longer to burn the wood down to coals to properly cook with. Then there's your access to properly seasoned wood and the type of wood factor to in. I definitely give Dan a pass on this one, although he does need work on his searing technique.
  14. Didn't think of them but now that you mention it Kansas could be a even better fit then bringing in two private schools. One USC is enough not to mention having to put up with ND another perennial overrated team. Never have been a Duke fan.
  15. The only thing that matters is where the team ends up. This is a very encouraging sign that Lanning is doing his job the way it should be done. As the CEO of the team he needs to be able to delegate and concentrate on all the players coming in not just the glory of being the primary on the big recruits. Dan is doing this extremely well and the numbers show it. With the team having a top 5 recruiting class and Lanning ranked in the '60s that means he's a team player with a leadership roll. As a small business owner you know you're doing a good job when every one is shouldering the burden equally and working as a team.
  16. If I had a vote I'd bring in ND and Duke. We all now what ND brings, Duke is intriguing. They bring a consistent football program with one of the most storied basketball programs ever into the B1G. I have not looked it up but I'm sure Duke has one of the biggest followings in all of men's basketball, I know basketball isn't the big moneymaker but it does make money. Bringing high viewership in the month of January, February, and March certainly would make the media guys happy.
  17. You hit the nail on the head. Unless you are one of the big money guys out of highschool going to a school with an open spot your way better off starting at lesser school and catching the payday later.
  18. His VA like elusiveness is exciting. He only threw 6 INTs and he's airing it out down the field with accuracy and extremely capability. He definitely has what it takes, now let's cross our fingers and hope he delivers.
  19. I like the trust idea, how it's administered will make all the difference. Turning sports into a job could be a step to far and could have unseen repercussions. Might as well just decuple football from the Universities and start a minor league. A 5 year scholarship player could have 150k sitting in a trust, That's not a bad start in life.
  20. Always like him and thought he was more of a natural fit at safety. He was never quick enough out of the break for the faster WRs. He did however have an eye for the ball, was good playing downhill, had good speed with a large catch radius. More of a free safety.
  21. Lucky needs to be more decisive hit the holes fast against this defense.
  22. Need a quick score to leave time for another drive later. This one's going to the wire.
  23. Two second string DBs on the field against the best passing O in the country. Next man up.
  24. I hope that's the case, he has a bright future. We all mess up I just hope for him he doesn't let this affect him and put him in a downward spiral like Colt.
