Don't see Lanning as a head case so I presume he will be positive upbeat and there is never ever anything wrong with your coach's showing fire on the sidelines. There's nothing wrong with discipline and people now day's can't fathom people or coach's yelling at players so it's a really sensitive society now days yet these same people watch stuff on TV that would blow your mind. I don't mind a HC chewing players out then again there is no reason to ever have this type of problems within your staff. Geeze his own kid is transferring.

Definitely want a stout defense one that the last two DCs just in my opinion didn't get the job done. I liked Andy way more than the guy that just left. Thibidueaxs resume should be a whole lot more than what he gave. Guy didn't really show up in either Utah game which I find baffling. More so is I want to see speed on offense and I want to see 500 yard explosive offenses like we are all used to. The defenders are there to some extent and Lanning is going to have to recruit way better in the trench's so Lupoi was a great hire.

Yeah they kicked the Ducks tails pretty good so yeah I hope they beat OS. IF it were SC or the Leg Lifters not so much. OS would have lost to two PAC 12 teams in the same season so that would be good for the PAC.

One thing I would think the PAC could do differently is have one less game in beating up on each other. The SEC doesn't do it so why should the PAC. Cats gotta love them and we have two oof the coolest lap cats. They do some pretty remarkable stuff. The thing that makes me wonder about the being able to transfer out is this we know BAMA is loaded heck look at the big kid Jones that just transferred out to Auburn. A 4 star that wasn't ranked that high yet the kid got on the field at Oregon freshman year and made a difference. Doesn't anyone think there might be a few 4 and maybe even 5 stars that are buried on their roster that could help Oregon? Just a thought and Fish you can answer this in a editorial brother. So help us all out with that deep football knowledge with this FA that they call transfer portal.

Its called two all star teams. If all Power 5 conference Champs can field good talent like 22 good talent then maybe we can see kind of like the NFL format in the playoff's. We also need to remember that a QB a starter can get injured and then his replacement isn't so good and the pressure from the defense makes him throw picks and then your on a somewhat even field. I believe if you have a great QB anything is possible. I mean yeah more than likely BAMA is gonna be champs. Lanning needs to change this at Oregon and hopefully he does.

Yes they recruited really good but I never in a million years believed you couldn't recruit to Oregon. It was just most the coach's that brought Oregon up didn't like the way these players were getting " CODDLED " and didn't want to keep kissing their heinies to come play at Oregon and I get it because it's gotten way out of hand. Thank goodness we have coach's coming here that are Grinders and they enjoy this. Not me in a million years. Honestly if and I don't know if this is true but I heard A@M pays their O Lineman 50 grand. Hello if this is the case and Phil wants this as bad as he says he does? Then I would conclude that he will need to open up his check book and pay more than everybody else. I had to laugh at the picture with Mario wearing Addidas brand apparel as what a let down in shirts and everything else Miami wears and I'm not bragging up Nike because I certainly think it's a way over priced product that is very uncomfortable shoe. I mean people love the swoosh but it's over rated like everything else on this planet. I remember going to the RED BOX bowl at Levi stadium and watched the ugliest football game of my life. We won but could you imagine if it would have been MS 7 OR 6. Thats pretty much what we've been watching for 4 seasons even with the two PAC 12 Championships the win over OS was just old ugly football that Oregon just was in the right place at the right time. Nothing more nothing less. Can we just all agree that this team will be better off because look at Lanning and the staff he's putting together and he gets it. David regardless of how people felt about what slick and Mario did they do have that right to feel mis guided by a guy that was getting paid more than most of us put together in this entertainment business. We all have good points in this and better minds will prevail. I just also quit my 247 pay your money and your at the mercy of that site. That's a whole lot of players not there to help. 30 is something I would be saying ok the guy won't play any young guns and I know they are better than what any of these guys were letting on and AB is average so I just don't understand why we even played the game. I new they would lose as they couldn't field a full team and I hate the way this game has gotten to the point of yes they were all ready getting paid by going to school at Oregon with a paid full ride and people just don't seem to understand that concept. So now they are getting endorsement's and still don't play. The game is just getting ruined to the point of who is going to stay true to their word? I just hope Lanning can work it to a NATTY and I'm just asking for one only one and to me Oregon deserves it. I would love to see Bassa back at safety though not that he can't be a great LB and maybe thats what he'll have to do because of his body maturing or getting bigger so either way we got a winner. Safety though would be so awesome to watch him play. The guy would be a train wreck coming your way. Man I think this kid got way under ranked but thank you for coming to Oregon.

Man I'm glad I didn't watch that game. Honestly Charles I'm just thankful this staff is gone and we wont have to talk about them again. First half down 30 to 3 that's not competitive like the acting and man he should never become an actor or a HC said it would be. This is a season that I will flush down the toilet and try to act as if it never happened. Also to all the players that sat out the game, shame on you and that's not what TEAM is about. Honestly Mario has done so much damage to this season its going to take a while to be forgotten. We can only hope Mr Thompson is ready to compete and I hope he beats out Nix because he chose Oregon and hopefully he's ready to take Mariota charge. This can be a good team with the right staff and that is looking like it will happen. I hope Georgia wins it all because what's one more week after what has happened in just the last month. I'm sure we will be happy. The only thing that kind of sucks is a whole new defensive and offensive philosophy so it will obviously be a work in progress. Lets just all hope we get players healthy and keep them that way. Go Ducks and lets get the Lanning project on it's winning ways!

I would say Michigan is good just not good enough to beat Georgia and your right we need Mr Lanning to murder Michigan's offense and also I'd just like to see Georgia get over that hump. Cincinnati is pretty stinking good and they will be ready to go toe to toe with BAMA and certainly wouldn't count them out of bringing the upset against Bama. Will it happen more than likely no but would be huge for CF if they did. I just don't want to see BAMA in the finals again as you know that league gets preferential treatment. If it does end up being the two SUCK teams Go DOG's.

My guess Ok 41-10, 0, 1, 170 I say all this because if I'm the Sooners DC just stack the box against the run and make Brown beat you and we should know this did not end well when it was put on him. I would only hope that Thompson can get in to let him see what he can do as it just sometimes takes a spark for a team to get going and even though I'm not interested in this game it would be nice to see the youngster Thompson get a chance. Hello fellow Duck faithful I am putting this out for anybody I may have offended as a apology because I was wrong and didn't mean to attack anyone's post on here. I will just let you know that this season was the worst for me to take and honestly I was so close to being done with the Ducks as this was not what I expected from this team going forward as I just am not ok with just a RB win once in a while. I'm not making excuses for my bad behavior because there are none so once again I am sorry. I will add that I do appreciate all of you and appreciate what and why Charles expects us to be like on here. I do believe Oregon got this hire right for once and great things will happen and they will happen first on February 5th when this new great staff of better recruiters and better coach's as in coaching these players up not like this staff that is now for the most part gone. The 5th will be great because that's when they can finalize this class and I believe we will have a class between 15th and 9th. I watched a PAC 12 media guy talking to some SC homer talking as if Riley and SC will be right around the same spot in recruiting when it's all done. I laughed at his illusions and honestly Lanning beat SC. So I'm all back in and I will be watching what I say and how I say it with respect to all my Duck faithful so please don't worry that I'm gonna be bad because I'm gonna be good. Thank you for this info and I'm sure now Tosh will never have to resort to any tactics because first off the NCAA is now starting to look like a forgone conclusion. They are paying players to play for you now so I would think getting paid by the richest booster or one of that Lupoi shouldn't have to worry about anything but recruiting straight up. About the coach's bringing in or trying to get players to come with them well that just is the way they all do it now just look at the guy who sports a 61-60 record did it to. No worries sometimes you gotta side with the enemy. Its already been told that Mario tried to get him to Miami and he said no thanks I'm going where the grass is greener. LOL.

So bringing in the Lupoi and plus all the other top recruiters should change this dramatic like and Lanning's youthfulness to me will really hold true in living rooms. Yes I find it real odd at the high number of injured players on Oregon and find it a whole lot more odd of the players not around to play. Well I'm starting to somewhat see a trend of Mario's recruiting. He said INTEGRITY should always be there yet he must have been talking out the side of his mouth when he said it. Come on everyone you have to admit his words were growing increasingly stale. About Thib's this is just my opinion but would you really want him as the first pick? I wouldn't take him at all because lets be honest he has all the abilities in the world to be a top player. He just chooses when to do it and if either of those Utah games were any indicator's he shut himself down because he clearly should have dominated that O Line of Utah's and he didn't show up and that is a huge RED Flag. If I'm Detroit I stay right at home and pick Hutchinson as their pick because the guy just doesn't quit and his stats show not only that but he never stops competing. As far as Williams goes his track record is even worse as far as not finishing what he started. No way he's a second rounder as he needs to come back for final year. Wright I most definitely agree 2nd round and maybe works his way into a late first pick because he's got everything you want in a starting CB and maybe just maybe he wasn't getting coached up enough to make him a clear first round pick. Back to Hutchinson he reminds me of the BIG 10 DE's they just play with their hair on fire. I hope to see this new staff coach these young men up to unbelievable status and would like to see Oregon start to have 3 guys each year in the first round of the NFL draft. Still needs a QB to throw to them! I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about Nix so we don't really know what were getting. I've seen the tape of Thompson and he looks real impressive it's just when he got in against Stony Brooke and Arizona he didn't do anything spectacular. I mean that doesn't mean anything and if I were a betting man I'd hope that he's ready to take the starting position. Its kind of amazing all the money they throw out to coach's and now players and yet they don't put the money where it counts the most into the QB position. If this means a QB Coach then by all means do it.
