Well Steve it's a bidding war now. So he's waiting for the right fit. I'd love it if he plays anywhere other than SC. They are acting as if they just won the PAC back with the Riley hiring. Hold on a minute as I don't feel that at all. I still fill like Oregon's the most talented and Lanning will do better than Mario as the next evolution at Oregon. Can we say NATTY and let Mr Knight see this soon.

This guy and the other 3 star RB would love to have them both. They both look equally fast twitchy and make guys miss type's of RBs. We haven't been privileged with those types of backs for 4 seasons. Remember James and Barner as just two former 3 star RBs that were the best at it. Man no disrespect towards CJ nor Travis because those guys came to work every day and you have to have all your players that play like that. Its just that it wasn't exciting to say the least. Please bring both these guys and Broussard to boot. Its open competition so we will see if that's true come Spring.

I can't wait and can hopefully think Justin will be able to show off his skillset all next season. If he can play the way he's allowed if healthy then watch out. Your talking 15 tackles a game from this guy. TFL's will probably be more than Kayvon's. This kid has RL skills for the next level. He's a once every 10 year type of MLB and that's middle line backer not major league baseball. Flowe could play outside as well. Actually instead of just those two what about whoever plays the outside spots. Funa if he can stay healthy should have a huge Senior season. This should be the top LB unit all together in the Nation next year.

Thank you Annie and this would be a way to kind of push back to the SEC because we would be playing the ACC, B-10 playing out of conference matchups with both these conference's. The SEC usually always plays cupcakes and by us playing each conference every year say Wisconsin and Clemson. Say you win both those match ups. Playoff match ups with better wins than the SUCK. They got to do something to just keep up and have to stop the bleeding. There are numerous ways to make money for the league's and I believe the PAC 12 needs a boost of income after Larry leading us down the Black road.

This crew looks better than Mario's crew regardless.

One thing I left out is they go to his home town and take him out bowling as who does that and he's not impressed. I don't know I've heard some good things about this kid and then not so much to the other side either. Is or would he be a fit. I mean I guess we just have to wait till signing day to see who we get. I'm quite sure we will be impressed regardless if this guy stays. Better things ahead for Oregon and hey your miss out when we play for the Championship in 23.

I don't get it! Lanning has put together the best staff next to Bama, Georgia, and has worked for the best. His game plan for the NATTY helped the Dogs procure their first NATTY since 1980 my senior year in HS. WOW is there something missing? This guy would rather go to Oklahoma than stay right here and play for the up and comer? This has been one insane year going into this year. The Men's BB team is ahead of Colorado by double digits at home and loses after that brilliant 6 game win streak. Has the earth tilted on it's axis?

You can never have enough 6 ft 5 335lb road graders who are 4 or 5 star players. So Conerly Luli 4 star not 5 star DL Miller James Florence Kick in Arliss for free for all the headaches Mario caused.

Well Mario picked the wrong kids then if he wanted players who ate drank and slept football because there were 4 clear games that said they didn't want to play that day. The talent level against every team Oregon owned by a lot and they clearly didn't play up to their alleged potential.

I never agreed when Scott would make all those late games and I as a fan wanted early games. That helped with the downfall and with him being in office for so long and not doing anything for the conference was baffling to say the least. All that money out there yet a guy from Harvard couldn't get it done. It only helps the conference hire better coach's and it's all about competing right. No game should be a kick off on the west coast later than 5:30 pm.

I mean I wanted a RB that can at least hit the hole and be gone for 6 points again. I miss all the talented RBs Oregon used to have. Man it used to be littered with 5 star RBs. James and Barner obviously not 5 star RBs but they should have been because they were underrated to say the least. Burners is what they were and speed kills. Please I need some speed!

A lot of Basketball left so anything can happen. From watching how this team now is playing Dana's style really really good nobody would want to play Oregon if the tourney started today. We know like clockwork Oregon always plays better at the end of the season and I never really wrote them off after the horrible start. As usual way to much talent to be this bad. A few transfers had to jell and they have now so look out. This team looks the part also and the game just looks smooth to them now. They just have to keep buying in to defense and the offense will come.

Yes CJ when healthy ran hard. Not the type of RB we were used to here I'll admit but he ran hard so I wish him well. I just had a real hard time with the amount of talent on this roster yet not one of those backs were able to beat out Verdell or Dye? Just like the QB position two of the highest ranked QBs to ever put on a uniform at Oregon weren't good enough to come in and make a difference if given a chance. That was clearly not correct in Mario's terminology to have any open competition. So do we believe coach Lanning when he says there will be open competition at every position? Hope so because that's the only way your going to win.

Well yes we could agree to what was just said and maybe your right. The facts are this offense only averaged 31 points a game. We've already been shown what it should take to get into the playoff's and that's averaging 40 plus points a game. He also took a QB with all the intangibles in Hebert and can you imagine him winging the ball around if he'd of let him. There was one NFL guy who said the GM that drafts him will be fired! What are you kidding me heck I didn't even believe that even after Mario took his best weapon and made him pedestrian. Could you imagine Justin in BAMA's offense heck any year? He would have easily been the number 1 pick. Mario isn't going to go anywhere significant in his coaching career. I don't think Miami is significant anymore and Mario wont be the one to get it done. They just fired their HC who's team had just won 6 out of seven games to end the season and they wanted Mario for 8.5. That just makes me want to puke that a guy with a career 61-60 or whatever it's not a good record make that money. I was backing this guy till the end of this crap for pay show season. That guy Mario just cost us a whole lot better bowl game if he would of did his job. He quit on Oregon number 1 as if who cares about this season and Oregon I'm going home. Mario was a great recruiter terrible Xs @ Os guy and he did this every year. He left the cupboards pretty full so I thank him for that and now the next guy who to me looks as if he gets it. Your not going to be a great HC unless you surround yourself with great coach's. Then let them do their jobs unless of coarse it looks like they can't. ABs numbers kind of fool you and he wasn't accurate past 20 yards that much. Its kind of hard to figure out what really just happened to a once great looking season and the way it ended and then also 4 years of no RB that could hit that wide open hole and score on a continuous basis or throw down the field or have a fast paced offense. We lost Chips offense which was a recipe for a great weekend if your a Duck fan. then moved to Mario's recipe for danger try not to look smash mouth football that sometimes left you desiring a whole lot more. Well are we ready to be in the fast pace offensive system again? Dillingham's offenses look like with the right players they could score a lot. Ready for a defense that stops PAC 12 offenses on a regular basis and gets the offense more chances to score? Yes it looks like that will happen also. Last thing I'd love to say is can we also have a healthy roster next season as in no significant injury to any player. We really should have done so much more with what just went down the last 4 seasons. Yes we did some really good things and should have done some great things. Either way Ducky's we are gonna be more happy with what's about to go down in Eugene.

Funny and this is just my opinion. He thinks he's VL and he's not even close. The guy seems to want all the acclaim which already goes to the HC if they win anyways but it serves him well to treat his coordinator's a lot better as this now sounding like nobody wants to further their career under Super Mario. That's ok because if your not humble your just not going to succeed. I just kept saying to myself he seems like he could be a really good coach and he will evolve and get this right and it never happened. I'm telling everybody hey we lucked out.

Here's what I think, Lanning and his new super duper recruiters will close this class somewhere between 15th to 9th. Bet on it. Every player they are going after will help Oregon.

Well I will obviously be taking my Niners the rest of the way. Team of destiny, who knows because they just play hard and the lines are physically out playing the opposition. I really don't see anybody else in the playoff's beating them right now. I had counted out this team earlier this year and Shanahan to me was just not a great HC. Well well now I'm seeing the genious in him and if he can keep making the right moves this could be number SIX hopefully.

The thing about SC and Helton the last few years is for one Mario won the recruiting wars with them every year and it really wasn't close. When Helton was recruiting SC they weren't bringing in highly ranked Lineman. So you figure in 4 years of that and now I say no way SC is back unless this QB they allegedly are getting is everything and then some. I really think that Oregon and Utah will be the two best in the PAC 12. I believe Oregon is a great QB away from being right back on top more than I believe SC will be it. Just because Riley got the gig really doesn't hurt my feelings because he's not the best hire. Just my thoughts and they could be back, I just don't think it will happen.

I was just over on 247s site and read on where the Top 5 star recruits are going. It was painful to look at A@Ms recruiting list as many 5 star like three DTs top LB you name it they got it. Oregon and Lanning need to kill it for 2022 like TOP 5 class. Can they do it, well from the kids they've already been bringing in for visits I'd have to say yes. Man that list though was like a swift kick in the gut. Now you basically got 3 Super Star teams and all in the SEC.

Honestly HD I hope he fails and gets fired after 3 seasons. He was not what I thought he was. I thought this guy is refreshing as he speaks the truth and has integrity which was clearly not the case as he wore to faces. I also thought he would evolve you know if he wants to keep coaching as a HC. I guess it really doesn't matter as he has 8 million times 8 so the guy and all his family for the next 100 years wont have to worry about anything whether he evolves or not.

Yeah well he thinks he's all that but we endured 4 years of his meddling and believe me he was on both sides. Usually coach's follow the HC and I don't think anyone did except maybe a couple and Minnie me doesn't count.

No offense to anyone and what people think of, Dye. I loved Troy and just as equally Travis because you know what your going to get from him and that's a guy who will give you 110% every play and I will always respect him and what he did. Now you noticed I said what he did and that's because we need speed at this position and him and CJ do not have anything comparable to what James, Barner, Tyner, Stewart, you name it those guys were TDs waiting to happen if the big holes that usually showed up in the old offense. Honestly I will be stoked if both are gone because both have already been here long enough. Its time for the guys that have the speed and moves to get behind the LOS. In order for this Dillingham offense to put up I'm hoping 40 + points a game we need guys that can take it to the house. If Football is going the way it is now then by all means we need the best of the best at each position. Running back is no differen't. Could you imagine any of those backs in this offense?
