Great post, but even with a 'flattened out' field, one of the usual suspects, a team in the PO committee's top 6 in its final poll, will win the 2025-26 Natty. And this time, the team ranked 6th will not be the 8-seed. ASU could have and should have, but for a not-called targeting penalty, defeated Texas in the 2nd PO round. But would ASU have won two more games to win it all? Until it happens, the Usual Suspects, plus move-over OBD, with the resources and Dan to capitalize on the same, will win it all. More than ever, capital in CFB counts and then some.
