  1. 1-18 vs. the Top 5. Wouldn't you be testy? 😩 "Lopsided Officiating." Move over, Sark. 😁 It Isn't My Fault! 😜
  2. Thanks, Alex. But 'dominating' Penn State? My empty bottles of IPA and Pepto Bismal beg to differ. Dominate Ohio State? Just win baby! Pretty? Ugly? It doesn't matter. Georgia - Which Georgia team shows up and how serious is Carson Beck's injury? I don't see UGA even with its great D advancing to Atlanta with Beck not playing. The Georgia O has not lit up scoreboards in 2024. However, the Dawgs D held Texas to three TDs in two games. The D versus Texas in 2024 came up with 13 sacks and 15 Tackles For Loss 😁. It was a grind but even down to its second-string QB, UGA getting points in Atlanta was a gift. IMO, if OBD can defeat Ohio State/Tennessee with one team coming off a momentum-building win, and all hands are able to go in the next two games, I like OBD's chances. Especially with a wake-up call for the D in Indianapolis. Of the QBs still playing ball, I like Gabe to blow his horn in Atlanta on 1/20/25. Our OBD guy is the best player at the most critical position heading into the CFB playoffs. Thanks again. Trash Tennessee! Blast the Buckeyes! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Athletic's Bruce Feldman has OBD winning it all. Cites Gabe as the best QB in the field. "Gaberiel has a 22-3 TD-to-INT ratio versus ranked opponents in the last three seasons. And Gabriel has played against and defeated Texas." FIRST - Vanquish the Vols or Crush the Buckeyes!
  3. You will never obtain favorable results from a faulty design. Oregon and Georgia should have 1st round byes. After the 1st round games are played, Oregon should open against the lowest-ranked team still standing in a 14-team field and Georgia the second lowest-ranked team. This is how the NFL with decades of Playoff experience does things. Second. LOSE THE BOWLS! Do not try to serve two masters. Using traditional bowls and playing the champ game in Dixie equates to 5 of the 7 PO sites in Dixie as is the case this and next season. Play games on the home fields of the higher-ranked teams before the College Super Bowl or at least until the semifinal round. It isn't always sunny in Philadelphia, Buffalo, Green Bay and Chicago. 😁So what! It's FOOTBALL. Third. Adopt and disclose standard metrics for rankings and seedings. This is not difficult. Model the CFB Committee on how the CBB Committee operates. Adopt Quads or the equivalent, to value wins. There is no way a G5 team with close wins against Wyoming and Nevada should be seeded anywhere other than No. 14. Boise has a great player and a very good loss. So Boise like OBD and UGA gets a bye? The CFB Committee pays for advanced SOS and SOR stats that are not available to the public and seemingly ignores these resources. SOS is at the top of the list for the Committee to take into consideration. This did not happen this season. Is the goal to incent teams and conferences to play the easiest possible schedules? Why in the heck is Texas opening at Ohio State next season when both teams are in the field in 2024 with the best OOC win being the Longhorns win on the road versus a 7-5 Michigan team? Why is OBD opening with No. 1 FCS seed 13-0 Montana State (and counting) and not Portland State? (Rob?) Why Oklahoma State and not Tulsa? Fourth. From a proverbial mile away you could see this train wreck coming. From the first rankings release it was apparent that the 5th seed, while having to play one more game would have the easier path to the championship game. Senseless. Come 2025/26, the Powers-That-Be (the Power 2) must insist on the Committee being less opaque, and the Committee's final rankings matching the PO seeding. If you want 5 conference champs in the mix, fine. But No. 9 Boise State should be the 14th seed opening at Texas and No. 16 Clemson should be the 13th seed opening at Penn State. (BTW - how do you figure that a Clemson team that just defeated SMU should be No. 16 with SMU No. 10?) I like Dan's attitude: Winning a championship should not be easy! But, like the NFL, the best team in the regular season should have the easiest path to the Super Bowl. The regular season should not be a whimsey. Obliterate Ohio State! Trash Tennessee!
  4. I like The Sporting News Projecting the Ducks to Fly to a Title. College Football Playoff bracket predictions: Expert picks for 2024-25 CFP games, national championship WWW.SPORTINGNEWS.COM Sporting News' Bill Bender breaks down the 2024 College Football Playoff bracket with predictions for every game, from the first round to the CFP national championship game. Could it get any better than beating Texas and winning it all against Georgia in Atlanta? 😍
  5. Love It. But I'd as soon see the Domers housed by the Hoosiers! 😁 Last time Indiana won a game in South Bend? 1898. My train broke down and I missed the game. RATS! 🤪
  6. It's B1G! One-third🤑 of the PO Field. With 4 B1G teams headed to the Playoff, it really does just mean more … SATURDAYTRADITION.COM Sunday was stress-free for the B1G. It knew it was sending 4 teams to the Playoff. Turns out, that's more than any other league. The SEC is so rough, tough, and manned up that BAD losses to 6-6 SEC teams shouldn't count!😁
  7. 25-0! Danno's record when OBD scores first. WOW! 👍👌😍
  8. What do you want? The guy played QB at PoorDon't. 😁
  9. ROSES! Thanks, Jordan for a great recap of an exciting, back-and-forth ball game. Tez was a most deserving MVP and Gabe was calm in a shootout storm. PENN STATE, not Texas, deserves the fifth seed. ASU, not Boise State, deserves a first-round bye. SMU, not Bama, should be in. PSU and OSU deserve home games; Notre Dame, 3-1 vs the G5, does not. Heck of a format. 3 loss Clemson gets a bye with two home losses including a bad home loss to unranked Louisville, a home loss to SEC South Carolina, and a Mercedes Benz beat down from SEC champ Georgia. 😧 It's High Noon (Right Coast) for the Committee in Grapevine today. These experts are supposed to start fresh every week. Yet, Committee Chair Michigan AD Warde Manuel said that teams that did not play yesterday would not be moved. Will SMU fans in Dallas picket the pickers? CFB has changed. It's on to Pasadena 😍 and I don't recall seeing a Rose anywhere last evening. What an exciting game. Hats off to Penn State for competing to the end and to OBD for staying the course. Go Ducks. Erase No. 8 or Nuke No. 9! 😁
  10. 1 2 3 - That's How the PO Rankings Should Be! 1. OBD 2. Penn State 3. Ohio State Why did PSU not run more creative plays on the goal line against tOSU? Where was Ty Warren? SEC - SEC - SEC ??? Thanks for bringing home my $ Dawgs but that was what the SEC has shown all season - two good but not great teams balling out. OK - does 3L Bama get in instead of 2L SMU? ROAST OBD's ROSE BOWL OPP!
  11. ASU But, coming up Roses, who cares?
  12. Like many QBs, DG's QBR drops significantly when he is blitzed, from the top 12 to the mid-40s. PSU plays a lot of man D counting on a good D line to pressure the QB. It will be interesting to see how often former Indiana HC and current PSU DC, Tom Allen, brings pressure. Will Howard did not play well vs. PSU. I was surprised that Chip, like he did vs. Michigan, went away from the passing game so early in Happy Valley. Will Stein, like Chip, has quality WRs. And Will has a better QB. I expect Will will exploit the advantage at WR and DG's quick release and the average PSU DBs will suffer if Allen blitzes too often. PLASTER PsU!
  13. How about Jax State blowing out W Kentucky? Rich Rod, Redeemed? - Take me home country roads to the place I belong, West Virginia Mountain Momma take me home country roads. 61 years old. Perhaps not too old to go home again? I hope Rich Rod gets the West Virginia gig. What a long strange trip that will have been. Go AAC Champ Army! But beat Navy? Sorry, I was raised by a US Navy officer. And G5 Boise with a Bye before a Fiesta. WOW! POLARIZE PENN STATE!
  14. Give Me a B1G Champ Game 5. 24-0 - Danno at OREGON when OBD scores first. 3-18 - James Franklin vs Top 10 teams. 1-12 - James Franklin vs. Top 5 teams. ZERO - TD passes thrown by PSU QB Drew Allar vs ranked teams in 2024. 44-17 - Kenjon Barner's game prediction. On the way to Pasadena, Plaster, Pound, Paste, Pillage, Plunder, Pulverize, Prostrate, Paralyze, Plague, Pummel, Pelt, and Punish Penn State. And SPANK FRANK on his way out the door!👌👍😍 TAKE NO PRISONERS! LEAVE NO CRUMBS.
  15. How About, YES! This Committee has been rudderless from the start. Wasson: Is this the worst College Football Playoff selection committee of all time? WWW.SATURDAYDOWNSOUTH.COM We've seen some strange Playoff decisions, but this year has made the least amount of sense. Pound Penn State!

  18. Sorry for the delay, it's not easy to type when I have to bend over while wearing the Week 14 Championship Belt - 🤩 43 - 24 DUCKS 😍 3 TO 4 Sacks 345 yards of Dillon Dimes. Spank Frank! Neuter the Nits. Plaster PSU on the way to PASADENA!
  19. Whole Lot of Flippin' Goin' On! National Signing Day 2024: The nine biggest college football recruiting decommitment "flips" - CBSSports.com WWW.CBSSPORTS.COM A rundown of the most earth-shaking college football recruiting flips on Day 1 of the early signing period.
  20. 3/2/1 Format? In 2026 I think we will see 4 B1G/ 4 SEC/ 2 ACC/ 2 B12/ 1 G5/ and 3 AL. Here are three ways to fix the biased College Football Playoff selection process. LAWLESSREPUBLIC.COM The 12-team College Football Playoffs was supposed to bring an added measure of fairness, access, and democracy in determining a national champion. Instead, th Committee Chair Warde Manuel, whose Michigan team played 6 donut holes OOC in 2022 and 2023 and made the PO both years: "You can only play the schedule you have in front of you" ["Unless you are Miami and Alabama."] "The B12? Boise State has a worse SOS and SOR than the B12 champ and runner-up will have but have seen Jeanty? Wow!" F-A-R-C-E. As Dan says, "Forget the furor and just win. That shuts everybody up. 😍"
  21. Don't know about this, my friend. Bama, Ole Miss, and South Carolina are 9-3. The Gamecocks were blown out at home by Ole Miss and lost to Bama. South Carolina was the PO Gamecock Come Lately but IMO they do not have the resume to jump Ole Miss or Bama. Louisville defeated Clemson in Clemson far more emphatically than did So. Carolina. Ditto Georgia in the game played in Atlanta. USC East was hosed by the refs vs. LSU and had nice wins at 6-6 Oklahoma and vs. 8-4 A+M, but Wofford, Akron, and Old Dominion don't move the needle and USC should not jump over teams with the same record it lost to. You know what could have helped USC's cause, a 9th conference game vs Bama but the loss to Ole Miss would still be on the resume. We'll see if SC blows out a B1G team in its bowl game.
  22. Don't forget Lame Kitten. Lane Kiffin can't stop embarrassing himself while trying to make Ole Miss’ playoff ca FANSIDED.COM Lane Kiffin is getting embarrassingly desperate in his latest plea for his Ole Miss Rebels to crash the College Football Playoff party.
  23. PSU last altered its uniform design in 2017 when it went back to more of an Old School look. 😵 This is New School + Unis vs. As Old School as you can get (except for Illinois vs. Michigan this season.) OBD made a splash in Indy during B1G media days and the New School Unis will flash by PsU like racing machines circling the Brick Yard. 😍 SPANK FRANK!
  24. SP+ - Ducks by 3.2/ Texas by 1.5/ SMU by 5.4/ Iowa State by 3.7/ Boise State by 4.6 FPI - PSU by 0.4/ Texas by 4.1/ SMU by 1.3/ Iowa State by 1.8/ Boise State by 7 Do these computers sleep in the same room? 😁 My Vegas friends and I - GEORGIA +2.5 in ATLANTA! GET DOWN! 🤑 UGA - Bad 1st half vs Bama. OL problems vs. Ole Miss. Beck threw 3 Ints. in Austin and still UGA easily covered. Texas - Did not impress on O at Vandy, Arkansas, Kentucky and at A+M. Texas destroyed a Florida team on its 3rd QB, a transfer from Yale. Texas ZERO Top 25 wins. Georgia - 2-2 vs. the Top 25 including the win in Austin. Mercedes Benz Dome - UGA's home away from its nearby home. I don't believe Texas has played a game in this stadium? AND BEVO'S BEEN BANNED! I guess Mercedes does not like all those horns Texans put on their MBs? 🤪
