Michigan, with a true freshman QB, goes on the road to play the AP's No. 16 team, does not get blown out by a team with the portal's No. 1-ranked QB, and drops two spots from No. 7 to 9th. Drops behind UW and Nebraska teams that have played easier schedules to date. I know this is just for grins 😁but we saw the same from the PO Committee last season that had a team with an SOS in the mid-80s ranked the ninth best in the nation. Michigan has one of the easiest in-conference schedules. The Wolverines will not have Sherrone Moore with them in Week 4 when they play at Nebraska, but win this game and 10-2 is doable.
