If this thing continues to get out of hand college football will eventually cannibalize its self. These super conferences will get 3 or 4 teams in the playoffs every year but it will end up being the same teams year after year--which they are now LOL Limits have to be put on the portal and someone has to oversee NIL.

I guess what Im saying is that a complete merger with the B12 with 4 divisions keeping a PAC division will be the shortest way to get ta NCG. 2nd and 3rd place teams dont do as well on the merchandising aspect of things.

As Long as we win 90% of our games otherwise not so good.

My worry is how many of those schools want to come all the way out to Autzen? And they will expect much more $$$ than we would get from traveling back into those parts.

Only time will tell but I especially have faith in PK -that guy has put a lot into the Ducks and he KNOWS business. I sure would like to know what's going on in his mind right about now!!!

I agree a lot with what you are saying but as I look at things as a whole Im thinking a B12 and PAC merger could benefit the Ducks as long as they keep a Pac division and create 3 other divisions with 3 out of division games. Last year for example Oregon could have benefited by playing Cincinnati or Baylor-If they won that is. This kind of situation would work wonders for strength of schedule.

Thats why any leftover teams which could include the Ducks have to schedule a few tough OOC games--AND win them.

I think the whole idea behind the super conference is to keep the very same schools that play in the playoffs, IN the playoffs. Meet the new boss same as the old boss.

Remember USC still has 2022 and 2023 in this conference as I suppose Oregon will have as well.

I just said in another thread--Teams spend $$ to win yet are willing take $$ to lose. I dont get it.

Maybe if AZ and ASU stay in the remaining PAC they could win some games? Teams spend $$ to win and are willing to take $$ to lose?--doesnt make sense to me.
