  1. I agree. We don't need a contract extension. We need a reset.
  2. Sorry, right now I don't believe anything what any Duck coach has to say. I'm just going to let the passage of time expose the truth.
  3. At least MC was a lot better at BS than WT.
  4. We started the season probably a half-dozen 4-stars away from the Natty. Now for next year we are only one real coach away . . .
  5. Absolutely. I had posted the same point earlier. I was yelling at the TV "Challenge it! Challenge it!" And the overhead camera clearly showed the Utah runner was about a half-yard short, and the commentators noticed it as well. I was fully expecting the next (to be 1st down) play to be stopped for the previous play review . . . I was stunned.
  6. I was astonished at what I saw in the first half. That was the worst-played Ducks game I can ever remember. AND I AM NOT BLAMING THE TEAM FOR IT. I know better. They were set up for failure.
  7. At least we all found out the TRUTH tonight. Over the winter maybe the AD will have a heart-to-heart talk with MC and get him re-directed/re-coerced. Otherwise, what is the point in having the world's greatest fruit-picker continue to let all that ripe fruit rot in the basket?
  8. At start of game, very first fourth-down conversion try right at mid-field by Utah. The overhead camera clearly shows the ball carrier was about a half-yard short. So what does MC do? NOTHING!!! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! He accepted the bad ball spot for a first down!
  9. Yes. Keep in mind that LA is one of the most expensive and glitzy-est places to live in the ENTIRE world, while on the other hand the homeless multitudes there literally live under EVERY overpass in the city. This reality should repel many recruits.
  10. Ducks will definitely beat Utah IF THEY FEEL LIKE IT.
  11. Maybe he's brilliant, or brilliant in hiring brilliance, but I'm seeing an immature tone flowing out of his public personality (and his strange relationship with Rattler, btw) . . . if he were coming to Oregon, I would be nervous. Hey, it's just me.
  12. And, actually, I find this version the most-time efficient way to get 99% of the viewing fun in one-third the time!
  13. This is definitely good news for Oregon. What's the point of dominating the Pac-12 every year when you're dominating PATZIES?! NONE. Oregon has the recruits, next to come is elevating the coaching, and finally . . . the CREDS.
  14. Uh, I would not quite use the mild terms "loss" and "stumble", but I agree with the general thesis about MC.
  15. "So the logic is . . ." Wow. That is the most illogical explanation I have ever heard come out of a football coach's mouth.
  16. " ... And here comes the oh-one pitch ... and a swing and a miss on a fast ball! Strike two! You're out!!!"
  17. I'm confused. These are NOT the stats I'm seeing on espn.com . . .
  18. Definitely agree on Taggart. Frankly, as soon as he opened his mouth at his first press interview, I knew Oregon had hired a dud, and wondered how he had ever gotten through the interview . . .
  19. Well, one could look at it this way. We ALWAYS knew the LOYALTY TEST was coming sooner or later. Best that it is sooner. IS MC a REAL DUCK or just another imposter? Is he willing to listen to the criticisms instead of deflecting them, admit his mistakes, learn, improve, and work harder to be a better coach for our team - or not? So let's find out NOW and not waste any more time.
  20. And AB actually had a greater yards-per-pass average (nearly 10 yards) than Nolan did.
