  1. My Brother is a Big Husky fan. He has seen Fusky play at every Pac 12 stadium but Colorado. He said the same stuff about MC. Turns out he was right about MC. Then again, a broken clock is right...
  2. Herby is pretty good, Homer for the SEC, but knows football as well as anyone.
  3. Heard somewhere recently that there will be a lot mort stunt across the O line. A skill that will only help future draft stock across the line.
  4. With all the transfers, opt outs and coaching changes the cup still appears to be half full for OBD.
  5. IDK if the Rose Bowl matters in years its not in CFP. Who wants to pay $1000 for a game that many of the best players opt out. Any bowl outside of the CFP is becoming pointless. Throw in the coaching carousel and portal, and its a death wish for these storied bowls. Expand the CFP to incorporate all the historically valued bowls and use the lower tiered championship games to prop up the remaining Kimmie Jimmel type bowls. Crown a champ on first weekend of January.
  6. What I find here is that posters seem to have a high football IQ. Observations and thought line, 99.9% of the time, are high quality and spur more thought. I always try stay inbounds and keep disciplined on the topic. Full disclosure, I never read the rules. Don't need to if I stick to the topic with grace. Still miss Loother a bit but this is much better.
  7. Thanks for the excellent job keeping politics off the board. Nothing will turn off fans faster than politics seeping in. So thanks.
  8. Need a QB that can throw the football. A ton of talent in the WR room this season. Nobody to get the ball to them. Anything Beyond 6 or 7 yards in the air solicited prayer. Most forgettable season in recent memory, LOL. 10 wins? Amazing!
  9. The pace Lanning is hiring coaches of high quality all while coaching the best defense in college football to a national championship is impressive. Dude has an unreal motor. Locked and loaded. Feb signing period is going to be a turning point for Oregon football.
  10. USC, Fusky, UGA and now Texas... nice to get immediate confirmation when your doing it right. Sometimes a simple "Thank You" will suffice.
  11. I believe in second chances in most instances. I also think that lanning is going to make mistakes along the way. Short leash for Klemm, long leash for lanning kind of thing. With Lanning juggling so much with two programs, I expect some missteps. Another couple weeks and Oregon will have lanning full attention. Don't think I can expect him to fill his staff quickly to try and salvage recruiting and do it flawlessly.
  12. I have personally experienced heart pounding momentum. Nothing gets the blood pumping like coming down a logging road sitting on 102k lbs of iron and wood in 2 ft of snow and ice with a 500 ft drop on your left. One slip and momentum builds from there. Wait... wrong kind of momentum. Nevermind.
  13. These guys are drinking the Riley kool-aid. "He is the greatest, elite offensive mind, top recruiter". Maybe they should dig a little deeper. Total offense at Okie dropped year to year under Riley. Recruiting went from 5th in 2018 down to 12th in 2020 and 15th in 2021. Fools gold if you ask me.
  14. Lanning has been busy, grabbed a couple seasoned coaches with time and experience. I see he did great at UCLA leading them to top the Pac in pass defense. Great recruiter. Coming together for sure.
  15. I don't know much about Tuioti. Going to have to trust Lanning on this guy. My first thought was that Lanning intends on recruiting the Polynesian community hard on the Defensive front. Other than that, I got nothing.
  16. Mario was exposed this year. Yea, injury didn't help but these kids were starting to catch on to MC's abilities. Rumors of grumbling in the locker room and Pittman leaving mid season says a lot. Miami put a bandaid on reality but Oregon should be grateful the Canes stepped up. $9 mil, Pfft. Lanning will not only out perform MC on the trail, he will also out perform MC on Saturdays. We are all a little nervous about this class and losing existing talent. Remember that Lanning is preoccupied with coaching the bulldogs to a championship run. After Jan 11 I fully expect the tide will turn for the Ducks on the trail and portal
  17. Bulldog fan isn't so sure. Some of them are pretty confident, true. I think a lot of UGA fans are nervous about this game. They watched the Ducks go into the Shoe and man handle tosu. And that was with a guy who can't coach on Saturdays. They are fully aware of who Dan Lanning is. Oregon is the only non-blueblood that the rest of the CFB views as a Blue Blood. This game is going to be epic.
