  1. THANK YOU: Free Day for Oregon Duck fans at DuckTerritory is Live! 247SPORTS.COM On this Thanksgiving week of 2022, the crew here at DuckTerritory has so much to be thankful for. And it starts with the greatest fan base in the nation, who has
  2. I agree with your premise, but . . . I think De Boer is mistaken when he said they were ready for the onsides kick. We I saw the replay, the closest husky was backpeddling. Had the ball not gone 15 yards, then maybe we we recover. Plus, this was a game like UCLA where we needed to steal possessions. Was a 25% chance just as good as watching Penix carve up our non-D on the day? Gambling was Chip's DNA and resonated with recruits. So, I think these young coaches aggressiveness will do so also. And, as you said "I understand they are open about being in a “learning-mode,” this is a very good sign to "know when to hold 'em".
  3. Opps, my bad. Dang, another game, sc v nd, where normally wishing both could lose.
  4. Plus, we need a new rule this is the last time it can be posted.
  5. Seems pretty reasonable that an L to usc in the Pac 12 CShip would vault sc to the playoffs and the Rose would be ours. Of course, we would all prefer sc take the L and knock them out of the playoffs. They would still get a NY6 game and good $$$ for the conference. GO DUCKS.
  6. Good news, the only ones who we "Boy were we all off" were the one picking the Utes.
  7. I think they only solved the Nix can't hurt us with his legs offense. As for our D, got the win, only gave up 10 points. But also lucky on 4th down passes to the feet of Kincaid and the later slant over the middle that Thorton or Bucky would have caught. Of course, kudos for creating those 4th downs with GREAT 3rd downs. On a night where our O was playing Mari-ball score wise, better to be lucky than good.
  8. Remember, St. Saban: 1) Called for outlawing hurry-up offenses for player safety . . . until he got the players and coaches to use it. 2) Is calling for a 9 game league schedule . . . that can't be implemented until after he retires due to current scheduling.
  9. "That was poor. It didn’t work out well, obviously. I’m glad that didn’t cost us the game, but great learning moment for me and our staff." DL Glad to see that quote and I guess the coaches "medicine" this week wasn't as nasty tasting as last weeks.
  10. Didn't/don't see that coming. Hope you are right, but I worry about a one loss BIG runner up. If it is Michigan, I think their loss to osu would still have them a few spots ahead of us with no games to play. Same with 'Bama whose only losses were 3 pts to Tenn on the road and OT at LSU.
  11. I guess it is a great game when I didn't need valium until 13:14 of the 3rd Qtr, and 1 was enough.
  12. Oregon's performance vs Utah could define Ducks 2022 season 247SPORTS.COM What makes college football so awesome is the roller coaster of emotions a team and its fanbase can go through. An awesome roller coast has a big climb at the start of
  13. The first question is, is Lanning looking at Auburn? I sure as heck don't think so and have seen nothing CREDIBLE that would indicate he is. Additional questions are whether Dillingham the candidate is interesting in being THE candidate with the unknown sanctions pending and better jobs in the future opening. I realize it would be a homecoming for him, but ask Willie how'd that work out for him. I think in Mari's case, he'll survive quite a bit longer.
  14. The Ducks who must perform well to beat Utah 247SPORTS.COM The Oregon Ducks are gearing up for their final home game of the season, and they'll take on a Top 10 program in Utah that beat them twice in three weeks last season to
  15. Win: your brilliant or LUCKY. Lose: your not or UNLUCKY . Win: you out-coached your opponent or were LUCKY, lose: you were out-coached or UNLUCKY. That's fans, media and critics from the other perspective. He who wins gets to write the history.
  16. It will be interesting to see how this time line plays out with the media contracts.
  17. Interesting to use that analogy in that I watched that game in the basement of a dorm in 1970.
  18. Oregon ready for 'knock back tackle game' against Utah 247SPORTS.COM It's no secret that in the last few years, Utah has used its tight end room like few schools in the country. Dalton Kincaid and Brant Kuithe have turned into an incredible
  19. You are correct, but he also was burned earlier in the game on the long TD, and was he part of the "mis-communication" vs Colorado?
  20. I think that player baited Bo when he saw the formation and knew what was coming. I'm not sure we will ever see a targeting call on a below the waist tackle.
