2025 B1G Recruiting: Elite Results, and Then a Cliff…
Charles, you finally crossed the line. Oregon has only one Uncle and his name isn't Cliff. Cliff will go down in infamy for both the Natty and "smoked it all". And he was robbed on an int vs Auburn.

Can you imagine the heat on Day if that happens. Not only lose to Oregon and Michigan, but out in the first round of playoffs Wow. Of course, who do they get to replace him . . . Riley is my pick.

Power Ranking the Old Pac-12 (Final Edition)

Dillon Gabriel Should Win the Heisman
My ballot: 1) Hunter, two-way player, great at both. 2) Jeanty, he got his team to the playoffs with only one loss (thank goodness), Can't stop him even when you know he is going to get his carries and possibly injured arm for 1/2 season. 3) Gabriel, 'nough said. 4) Ward, good for 4th.

Oregon Football: The Ducks’ Biggest Threat Remaining
The biggest threat is Oregon not being Oregon. This is not your grandfather's Oregon! (If you are old enough to know what this is from, then you are probably a grandfather) Go Ducks!

Will Oregon Take Advantage of Their "Great Opportunity?
I think/hope so. It does not bother me in regard to the "draw" we have. Once in the "tournament" to be the Champion you have to beat everyone in front of you. If someone beats you, then they deserve to move on.

It's Set, Oregon Plays the Winner of Tennessee at Ohio State and SMU Gets in!
Couldn't afford the fare and my horse was lame. Expect next year to do away with seeding for conference champs and just use the rating with conference champs still getting auto bids.

Conference Payouts for the CFP
Each conference will receive different payouts based on the number of teams in the conference that make the College Football Playoff. But those teams will be eligible to earn even more money for their conference the further they advance. For the 2024-2025 College Football Playoff: 1. A conference will receive $300,000 for each of its teams in the College Football Playoff that meets the NCAA Academic Progress Rate, which is essentially a team-based metric to hold colleges accountable for their student-athletes' academics. 2. A conference will receive $4 million for each team that makes the 12-team CFP and an additional $4 million for each team to advance to the quarterfinals (eight schools). 3. A conference will receive $6 million for each team that advances to the semifinal (four schools) and an additional $6 million for each team that advances to the national championship game (two schools). 4. Each team that participates in the College Football Playoff will receive $3 million to cover expenses each round. So, the question is, and it is a Hell of a lot more than a $64,000 question, how much of the conference $$$ does the participating teams get beyond the $3Mil for expenses?
