  1. I guess it is a great game when I didn't need valium until 13:14 of the 3rd Qtr, and 1 was enough.
  2. Oregon's performance vs Utah could define Ducks 2022 season 247SPORTS.COM What makes college football so awesome is the roller coaster of emotions a team and its fanbase can go through. An awesome roller coast has a big climb at the start of
  3. The first question is, is Lanning looking at Auburn? I sure as heck don't think so and have seen nothing CREDIBLE that would indicate he is. Additional questions are whether Dillingham the candidate is interesting in being THE candidate with the unknown sanctions pending and better jobs in the future opening. I realize it would be a homecoming for him, but ask Willie how'd that work out for him. I think in Mari's case, he'll survive quite a bit longer.
  4. The Ducks who must perform well to beat Utah 247SPORTS.COM The Oregon Ducks are gearing up for their final home game of the season, and they'll take on a Top 10 program in Utah that beat them twice in three weeks last season to
  5. Win: your brilliant or LUCKY. Lose: your not or UNLUCKY . Win: you out-coached your opponent or were LUCKY, lose: you were out-coached or UNLUCKY. That's fans, media and critics from the other perspective. He who wins gets to write the history.
  6. It will be interesting to see how this time line plays out with the media contracts.
  7. Interesting to use that analogy in that I watched that game in the basement of a dorm in 1970.
  8. Oregon ready for 'knock back tackle game' against Utah 247SPORTS.COM It's no secret that in the last few years, Utah has used its tight end room like few schools in the country. Dalton Kincaid and Brant Kuithe have turned into an incredible
  9. You are correct, but he also was burned earlier in the game on the long TD, and was he part of the "mis-communication" vs Colorado?
  10. I think that player baited Bo when he saw the formation and knew what was coming. I'm not sure we will ever see a targeting call on a below the waist tackle.
  11. Lanning has been around a large number of coaches and compiled a list of who he would hire. So, based upon all the other hires, I'll trust in this one also.
  12. This onside kick would have worked had it not been kicked so far. The ewe dub defender seemed to backtrack more than the UCLA guys. The ball just went almost 5 yards further. I was Ok with it, since we weren't stopping them anyway. The play Nix got hurt on, we were baited into that run. They "showed" the same D to the same formation Nix scored on, Hind sight indicates a Nix jump pass to a TE would have been nice to see there. Just like a naked bootleg by TT on 4th.
  13. I think it is a combo between players and coaching. You coach what you have to their strengths. If your DBs are weak, you need to shield them with your line and LB play. If you can't due to personnel, you're screwed. I would think with the players and supposed coaching chops we have, a better result should be happening. Not record wise, just scoring and yardage wise.
  14. Sure as heck hope NOT, hate to root for usc. If we get Bo back and healthy, I think not.
  15. He might have to change his name to "three" to match an average rush or reception.
  16. Hell, if I were Dillingham that pole would reach from Eugene to Tempe and then extend out to push that job/rumor over the edge of the universe.
  17. TT's 5* was not a consensus and one site that gave him that rating also said some of it was based upon potential. It would be nice to see what he could do with a full playbook and the first team around him. Of course, according to our "coach speak" 1A, B & C was not clear cut in the spring or early fall . . . yeah, right.
  18. Correct. However, I thought the replay showed our player with the ball firmly in his hands and stomach with the WR grasping for it. But, we'll never know.
  19. 7 Takeaways from Washington Huskies 37-34 Upset of Oregon PACIFICNWSPORTS.COM The Washington Huskies upped their record to 8-2 with an improbable 37-34 upset over #6 Oregon. Here are our seven big takeaways.

  21. Oregon vs. Utah: No. 13 Ducks open as field goal favorites over Utah DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM The Ducks open as slight favorites at home next week vs. Utah, looking for some revenge after the way 2021 ended.
  22. Oregon football loses winning streak, Bo Nix, and opportunities to Washington AUTZENZOO.COM One thing I can say after watching Oregon football on Saturday night is that Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is a legitimate Heisman Trophy conten...
  23. Agreed, have to keep kale on the diet 2 mas anos. Goal line fumble wasn't too costly as it really just took time off the clock as we held and then drove down and scored. Pass defense = oxymoron. Bennett burned twice, second one especially bad since it looked like if he takes the correct angle, he has a chance for the int. Passing, yes weird only 1 TE catch. Nix's injury, the insult was that it looked like he was baited into that run as the tackler was lying in wait and brought the woodshed with him. Heck, even I knew it was essentially a repeat of the earlier scoring play (fool me once . . . but there was "no shame on" me follow up). Also agree with punt on that last 4th down. It looked like Auburn 2019 2.0 only with Bo literally on our sideline. Why not have Thompson run an RPO, or naked bootleg on an earlier down. Injured center, back up also at guard. Needed a little more coaching prowess there. Also brings back memories of Chip vs Fairley in the BCS. Lastly, these are the PAC 12 refs, why not challenge the tug-o-war int/catch. It sure looked like we (don't remember who, Gonzo?) had the int, possession and a knee down before the ball is ripped away.
