And the Husky Hits Keep on Coming! Ryan Grubb to Join DeBoer
Steven A replied to Steven A's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Kansas' Leipold turns them down. The article goes on to state: "The Huskies may have to lower their expectations amid their coaching search. It doesn't sound like anyone wants to take over for the Huskies." -
And if you are lucky enough, be paid that much not to coach a team. Right Jimbo?

Wait...Jonathan Smith to Washington?
Steven A replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Ewe dub better be careful. If they hire Smith, he will just bail on them in a couple of years when the Beavs become a better program. -
Crystal ball . . . Safety Asa Turner, TE Tre Watson, QB Will Rogers and LB Ethan Barr Previously: QB Dylan Morris, QB Will Haskell, WR Taeshaun Lyons, DB Vincent Nunley, DB Jabbar Muhammad and DB Jaivion Green I say go after Muhammad. MSN WWW.MSN.COM

I don't care who they hire, Penix was a once in a generation player that without him they were an 8 - 5 team at BEST.

Alabama Slides to Their 5th or 6th HC Choice?
Steven A replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
2 games, or being shutout 2 times, which ever came first. I am sensing a tie. -
Not for the Noble: Harrumphs at the Huskies!
Steven A replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Wow, I can't wait for Charles to be able to post on a non-work day! -
Hummm, the Barry Alvarez treatment. We know how well that turned out. Would be nice to see 'Bama as Wisc 2.0

What an excellent way to announce. At the end it would have been great if he was at a table with 2 hats in front of him and tossed the A into the trash.

100% agree. He has said before, he has everything he needs here to succeed. I am hoping he is a man of his word and Oregon is his last college job. Besides, who wants to follow a legend?

Oregon Ducks Football: Who Was Your Favorite Duck of 2023?
Steven A replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
If it is only one, then Bo. Not only what he did on the field, his ambassadorship for the program AND that he came back. -
Will remain as an advisor . . . until $ talks. Pete Carroll out as Seahawks coach, will serve as team adviser - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM Pete Carroll will no longer serve as Seahawks coach and will move into an advisory role. Carroll had led the team since 2010 and posted a Super Bowl win after the 2013 season. I know it's not Duck news, but I think a lot of Seahawk fans are on this site.

I am not sure anyone could have against that D. I still think he is the best pure passer I've seen in years.

CFP National Championship Postgame Discussion
Steven A replied to DrJacksPlaidPants's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I bet $100 on ewe dub. I wanted them to lose, but if they had won, I'd have gladly taken the money. Had they lost and covered, best of both worlds . . . but that rarely happens for me. So, I'll just have to settle for the smile on my face watching the best $100 I ever lost. -
We still haven't thanked them enough for giving sc Riley who in turn kept Grinch for two years.

Should the Traitorus/Realistic 10 Decline NCAA Invites?
Steven A posted a topic in Our Beloved Ducks
With the mayhem that is the Pac 12 in Basketball. 1. Wouldn't it be great if all teams besides the "left behinds/butts of the conference" declined an invite to the NCAAs since any units would only enrich the butts? 2. If they did, could they then play in the NIT and keep their $$$. If they can't do No. 1, then we need to start rooting for every team to finish 9 - 9 and only the Pac Champ make the tourney and then lose in the play-in game. -
Good article. As Charles mentioned in regard to ILBs, Jacobs being back can't be understated either. I'm just looking forward to Oregon not having a Penix problem next year.

If you have a 24/7 subscription or are just able to cruise the site, if you click in the upper left on 247sports, the drop down menu lists NCAA BK. If you click on this and move over 1 column to the right and click on teams. The Pac 2 is listed with OSU and WSU. Whereas the other 10 are already in their new conferences. I wonder if football teams will be moved after Monday.
