Am I the only one asking myself the question? "Now that ATM has made the move and fired their coach while agreeing to pay his full 70+ million dollar buyout. I wonder if some of the cane faithful are asking themselves the same hard questions?" "Can we buy his walking papers regardless of cost just to get him gone?" I wish I could have come guys but I am housebound. Destroyed my Mr. BBQ rep by grilling on my deck barefooted and stepping on a live charcoal briquette. Third-degree burn and no walking around for me for a while. Hopefully, it can happen again at a future date (perhaps pre-Natty Game) and I will be able to make it. This game really presented a dilemma for me. I truly wanted both sides to LOSE and LOSE UGLY! The problem was as the lead kept switching, I found myself going back and forth, rooting for the other side. It was enough to drive a man to drink,(which it did!) So, by the time it was over, and the way it ended I found myself rooting against the Dawgs. I slept well knowing that both defenses made complete fools of themselves. Defense?? Defense??? we don' need no steenkin' defense. (Apologies to BLAZING SADDLES.)

Did I imagine I read a story that said Pat McAfee had lost his spot on CGD? If I didn't read it, I certainly should have or soon will. He's simply awful. I used to like CGD but with him on board, it's a big turn-off for me. Git oudda here! You suck!

Yes, taking a field goal on one of those 4th down-plays near the Dawgs goal line would have gotten us a chance in OT. Two of them would have won the game for us. Hindsight frequently shows the most aggressive play is to take the sure points and leave the posturing for another time or the other guy. Just MHO. Your mileage may vary.

There has been a small amount of comment about this and I believe that might be a bit short-sighted. , Wyoming was very motivated and played well down the stretch and maintained their composure in the two overtimes, but if you look at the TT players even in Q4 as well as the OT periods they just weren't as crisp and they looked gassed. I hope it isn't true but I think the Ducks will see a much better 4th quarter TT team and we'd better be ready for that. GO DUCKS!

I think it could be something completely different. I don't think he cares that we scored 81 points. He believes if he writes something glowing about the classy way we did it, how there was no drop-off when the 2's or 3's were playing, almost no penalties, no unsportsmanlike or taunting actions by the Ducks, just regular Duck football that PSU couldn't deal with. If he wrote that he'd feel like he's labeling himself or others MIGHT label him a Duck fan, or worse, a dreaded Duck HOMER!! He, can't go for that, can't go for that...no can do! (Apologies to Hall & Oates.)

CU looks very real to me. Going to surprise lots of doubters.

I watched some of that game and finally had to tune it out because the announcers were such HOMERS. They kept telling me what a great fit Mari was for the U and how his plan to bring it back to prominence was a 3 to 5-year deal and he was certainly the right person for the job. I finally couldn't stand it anymore and turned it off.
