  1. I'll never forget that travesty either. They deserved that beat down. OBD would have given Miami a much better game IMHO.
  2. I remember OBD going to Nebraska in the 80's and just getting pounded, coming home battered, bruised and dejected. I'm sooo glad those days are over!
  3. That was a fun game to watch. Poor free throw shooting and too many offensive rebounds doomed the Ducks. They didn't lay down, though. Fought hard to the end. 25 wins is nothing to cry about!
  4. The defense has been really impacted by the loss of Mevius. Not to mention the crazy number of missed opportunities at the rim.
  5. Watching tOSU vs Texas (Day vs Sark) was another one of those games where I kind of wished somehow both teams could lose. Like when the Beavs played the Huskies. But like being an Oregonian, I felt like I kind of had to root for the Buckeyes as a fellow B1G member. It looks like Jan. 20 is going to feel the same!
  6. I think Oregon's biggest disadvantage was the month long layoff.
  7. Our Oregon boys, Bittle and Shelstad both represented the state well!
  8. 5 star Ty Thompson anyone? I think OBD will be fine.
  9. Everything Illinois threw into the air came down through the hoop. 16 threes, that's crazy. The b-ball team's D looked as porous yesterday's football defense. Tough week to be a Duck fan.
  10. Is it a fluke or did the selection committee completely screw up? Inquiring minds want to know.
  11. It looked to me like Gabriel was indecisive yesterday, holding the ball too long and waiting too long before deciding to run with the ball. Maybe that would have made the OSU defense back off a little bit. Oh well, it was a fun season anyway. Can't wait for next year!
  12. This year's team looks great already. They are fun to watch. If they can continue to improve, as Altman's teams usually do, they should be able to make a deep run in the tourney. The only real weak spot I see is blocking out/rebounding.
  13. Didn't want to, but I had to start drinking early. Embarrassing way to end an otherwise great season.
  14. Everything but the pants. The pants would be better with a green and yellow stripe.
  15. Couldn't have happened to a better guy. Well earned and well deserved. Funny, I'm not sure the South Eugene football team won a single game while he played there. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.)
  16. The way UCLA was hitting 3's its amazing the ducks nearly won it. That last one was a heartbreaker for sure.
  17. I heard he told someone when he was a kid playing tag, they always made him be "it" first because no one could ever catch him, and watching him on the field, I believe it. His is a great story. He's a special player and we're so lucky to have him.
  18. The defense struggled, especially containing PSU's tailbacks and QB, but The defenses two turnovers were the difference in the game
  19. I like 'em. They look serious.
  20. I feel like I was too harsh about the uni's. They looked better on TV than on my computer screen. And the Duck D looked Dee-Structive in them! They took the pups to the pound, now it's time to pound PSU!
