  1. I'm SO glad I saw this. You people are hilarious! Happy thanksgiving, GO DUCKS!
  2. The first game I attended at Autzen was the 1983 "Civil War", so for me, 9 or 10 wins and a bowl game feels pretty friggin' good.
  3. I watched KT being double and triple teamed against Utah, (when he wasn't dropping back in coverage -what the ????) which should be expected. I also expected someone else to be able to get pressure under that circumstance. I like Mario a lot, but I'm not sold yet on Moorhead or DeRuyter. My knock on Mario in the Utah game is the team did not appear to play with any energy or emotion, sense of urgency. That's on the head coach. His team didn't look ready to play.
  4. Whenever I hear "third and long" with the Ducks on defense I think - oh no, they've got us right where they want us!
  5. No one could disagree that MC is a quality individual and an excellent representative of the U of O. Its just a game, albeit with lots of $$$ floating around, but what better example of how to conduct yourself as a human than MC. For me that's almost as valuable as the win/loss record. I know you've gotta win, but come on, he's light years better than the guy he replaced, and even Chip left here under a little cloud of allegations if I recall correctly. The Chip Kelly era was so much fun, but I think he benefitted from being in the right place at the right time at a certain level. MC seems intent on building something more lasting here, and if we have to live with 10-2 or even 9-3 sometimes (the horror!) we should probably feel blessed.
  6. TD would benefit from another year of physical maturity and development before entering the NFL. RBs take a pounding there, and with the NIL thing, maybe he could make some $$$ in college before taking that leap. I hope I'm way off, but I fear him entering the transfer portal if he doesn't get enough touches, assuming doesn't turn pro. He seems loyal to the Ducks, but these days- who knows.
  7. Thanks man, I love this board. This is the kind of discussion forum I've been looking for. Tons of great info and opinions.
  8. I love the energy and passion Kepnang brings to the team. Its really fun to watch how hard he runs the court end to end. He always appears to be giving maximum effort in his minutes. If he can improve his offensive game, with his physicality, he'll be unstoppable.
  9. I like MC and hope he sticks around long enough to build the type of team he says he wants. (Run first) I'm less sure about JoMo. He seems to pass on first down a lot. Travis Dye had 29 yds. on 6 carries against Utah. Travis Dye gets only 6 carries???!!! I think that works out to nearly 5 yds. per carry, right? What happened to using the running game to open up the passing game? Why is the QB one of the top running backs?
  10. Plus 1 for "Platypus Bowl" with a nice bronze Platypus trophy for the winner
