Oregon had kept their pedal to the metal offense under wraps up to that point. In that weeks Oregon vs Them, we saw Lannng tell the coaching staff it’s time to introduce the BIG to Evan Stewart and that was spectacular! So far the in the BIG Lanning has been a Rembrandt in a finger painting class.

Watch this week's US vs Them segment. They took the concept of going into the Big House and converted it into gladiators stepping into the arena. That's exactly what the thumbs down was all about.

Wow. This one was absolutely over the top. Gladiators going into the arena to dominate the opponent and shut up the crowd. Living up to every word Lanning said on Monday all the way to the final time out to soak up the moment before finishing them off. These videos are starting to look like the prequels of a documentary on the rise of the Duck empire. Thumbs down! Are you not entertained?

Michigan fan pregame: The Ducks are good but I think our physicality will wear down their finesse. Michigan fan post game: I can't believe they just ran it up the middle for that last touchdown. Why didn't they show us some mercy?

Coach Prime would be terrifying in SUC land but I'm sure he'll end up at FSU where he'll be worshipped like a god until he retires. At some point SUC will unload the brinks truck to buyout Riley then unload another Brinks truck on the next flavor of the month then rinse and repeat a few years later.

Great post. The only trick play on Saturday came from Michigan. A desperate looking attempt at trickery that went nowhere and accomplished nothing but turning the ball over on downs. Oregon then methodically took the ball down field one play after another just running down the clock one first down at a time. Finally on the doorstep of the endzone, no fake statue of liberty required. Just another run straight up the gut for the final score in the last seconds of the game. Welcome to Oregon football BIG Ten.

I think Michigan takes down Indiana. I think they figure some things out against the Ducks.

For those about to SUC we salute you.

The grass is pretty damn brown down in SUC town.

SUC fans are now looking back fondly of the Helton years.

When the game looks like The Globetrotters vs the Generals, just secure the ball and let the offense go to work. That game should have been 14-0 before the crowd was halfway through their first chilidog. Instead even after two great defensive stops, it was 7-7 and anyone's ball game.

Michigan's passing game seemed pretty good to me. I saw a bunch of NFL caliber plays against one of the best pass defenses in the BIG. Sure didn't look bottom twenty to me. I think they played good enough to beat a top twenty five team but they were just playing the number one team that day.

It looks like the ball actually bounces off his forearm not the turf. It may have still also touched the ground but that seems somewhat inconclusive to me. I've seen plays where a catch is ruled a catch even when the ball touches the ground but is not resting on the ground. I don't know the specifics of the rules there. If anybody does, some clarification would be helpful. If the video replay officials felt this was a TD because of what I just mentioned, I wish they would have clarified that during the game. The way it went down live, makes them appear to have made an error. Also on his spectacular catch that was waved off for illegal man down field, can anybody point out the infraction because I just don't see it.

USC is winning big and SUC just lost. What a great night of football.

Stewart has made some absolutely incredible catches and wins on style points. Maehl was the most clutch receiver I have ever scene. There's room for both on my fantasy team.

Maehl had 197 yards in a championship game including a tough do or die catch for a two point conversion to tie the score late. To me, that is the bar. PS Stewart is freaking awesome.

Penn St bobbles a nice TD catch right into the hands of the defender. I’d love to play that team in the championship but they’re doing everything they can to blow it.

I saw a pregame video about Oregon's finesse going up against Michigan's power and just shook my head. You keep hearing about Michigan's stout NFL level D. They've given up 113 conference points. The Ducks have given up 63. tOSU has also only given up 63 and Penn ST 61. Pretty impressive except those two have only played four games compared five by the Ducks. The Ducks have the best D in the conference with a head coach that's also a defensive mastermind with the ability to out recruit almost anyone. Oh yes and I almost forgot, they also have a dominant offense with a Heisman candidate QB. It's fun to be the villain.
