  1. How much have things changed with Lanning? Oregon played terrible tonight and still won by three TDs. I’ll take it. With Mario, tonight is a loss.
  2. Every single year he loses to unranked teams while having arguably the best roster in his conference. IIRC, he lost to 6 unranked teams in 3 years at Oregon. They will probably still make the playoffs, but I don’t see them getting too far with his coaching. Side note - Lanning is now 23-0 vs unranked teams.
  3. Rough start. Hope they get going here soon.
  4. Terrible. Need to bring pressure on that 4th down. Can’t just let Ward pick you apart.
  5. Ugh. That hurt. You have to make that throw and catch.
  6. Death, taxes, and Mario losing to an unranked team. Happens every single year.
  7. That’s soft. At least finish the season, then hit the portal. You already burned a season. Not sure I would touch him if I was a coach. His mom took to twitter too, which is always a good look.
  8. Great article. On a side note, Oregon is now 10-0 vs the BIG since 2016.
  9. Oregon has been starting fast and playing outstanding in the first half. Why do they keep deferring to get the ball after half when they win the toss?? Two FGs in 6 games in the 3Q? Just wow. At this point, I would argue that they should just take the ball first every time and try and get points on the board on the first few drives as quickly as possible. The defense is outstanding and the team has done a great job of getting out to a fast start. Against Michigan, once again they only had 1 full possession in the 1Q. If they take the ball first, do they have 14 after Q1? Most likely, yes.
  10. Looks like they are sleepwalking through the second half again. Hard to watch. That is going to bite Oregon at some point.
  11. Third quarter problems continue. Ugh.
  12. That was a massive TD. Get the ball after half too.
  13. I would be very interested to see how the statistics would compare with Oregon playing in the Pac-12 this year. Outside of the top 3 teams in the BIG, the offenses are flat out tragic and mostly one dimensional at best. I can say this with confidence. If Oregon was playing in the Pac-12 this year, the defensive stats would not be as good. This could be the best defense ever from a talent perspective. 1994, 2024, 2012 are all in the running, but I think 2024 clears right now.
  14. Yeah. This is a really interesting topic. The third team in the BIG that gets into the playoff may be at an advantage over the CCG loser.
  15. I guess I am pulling for tOSU. If they roll Penn State, then it makes that win look better for Oregon and probably helps with the at-large playoff discussion, if necessary. I have not even really thought about the championship game matchup yet. Lots of football left and one slip up and the championship game could be off the table. It is extremely difficult to go undefeated.
  16. I am not even sure what to say. I have watched a ton of BIG games and the officiating is flat out embarrassing. There have been tons of missed calls that have likely significantly impacted the outcome of games. I honestly think it is much worse than the Pac-12. As a posted mentioned about, Oregon is taking care of business, so fortunately they have not been a victim yet.
  17. This is sooo good. I can’t stop laughing. Warning! Before you click. There are a couple F-Bombs in there from the movie.
