  1. Congratulations to Ole Miss, I’m still in a bad mood this morning, but I can’t hate them for winning. I honestly didn’t think the had much of a chance to beat us. I was very wrong, they played very well!
  2. Have you ever tried blocking a 340 lbs defensive tackle that has elite speed? It ain’t easy! I’m joking of course, but it wasn’t the best play call. The defense looked not quite ready, that DT just made a great play. IMO.
  3. Time to get it done! Feels like I’ve been waiting forever for this game! Sco Ducks!!!!!!!!
  4. Only in our dreams Mr Duck, only in our dreams!!! 😂
  5. I’m excited, tOSU has the talent to get back into this! Second half could be very good football!!!
  6. They are, but it also helps that they have a few dudes that are ridiculously good on the DL!!!
  7. Miami defense is straight hunting right now. tOSU better figure it out or this might get ugly!!! Miami defense front has more than a few boys that will start on Sundays!
  8. We shall see! I think TT is a very good team, but I’m not sure they have the depth on defense to beat the Ducks! I’m not educated enough on this matchup to give a strong opinion, but I think the Ducks will win the 4th quarter and the game!
  9. Merry Christmas to all my Duck friends, may this holiday season and the New Year bring glad tidings to you all!
  10. In the words of Dennis Green “Finebaum is who we thought he was”. Seriously, is anyone surprised by anything he says or any take he has?
  11. I was not even thinking along those lines, but that is an excellent point! I think perhaps you hit the nail on the head with this post.
  12. I don’t care much about Notre Dame or USC, but I do hate to see traditional rivalry games come to an end.
  13. I just honestly don’t know exactly what to think of TT. I’ve seen highlights, but I didn’t watch them play very much. They lost to Arizona State, but it’s not like the Sun-Devils are a bad team, and it was a close game. Plus, any team is subject to have a bad game, no matter how good they are. They won every other game in convincing fashion, but it’s not like they played a real gauntlet of a schedule. I will say that convincingly beating Utah and then BYU twice is pretty impressive, but doesn’t convince me that they are the world beaters that some are saying. Obviously, I think the Ducks win, but I know how talented and how well the Ducks are capable of playing. With Texas Tech, I’m just not sure. I’m going to pull up and watch a few of their games before the Orange Bowl. Go Ducks!!!
  14. This is great news!!! GO DUCKS!!!
  15. Finebaum is all SEC Network, he is gonna always plug for the SEC whether it’s true or not. I’ve noticed even regular ESPN doing similar in recent years. It makes little difference though, games are won on the field and the clowns can’t influence the outcome at all! Aside from perhaps firing a team up a bit!😂 A few years back Eric Ainge made comments that Sanford Stadium was not loud and not at all intimidating before UGA hosted his Vols! During the ensuing beat down there were many false starts and much confusion for the TN offense at the line of scrimmage. Many Vol fans were not happy with Mr. Ainge!😂 This actually reminds me of something I’ve noticed about Autzen. While not having the capacity of some of the larger college stadiums it gets extremely loud and can and does cause much confusion for visiting opponents! Great design for creating an extremely loud environment!
  16. Yeah, it could easily be Oregon or Indiana vs Ohio State!
  17. Apologies, what I said came off a-holish. I just don’t share the opinion, but I should have been more respectful. I will in the future. So far as the very best team, I think it could easily go either way every season. I do think the SEC is the strongest conference on the field across the board, but that doesn’t guarantee to produce the best team every season. In fact, some SEC schedules are extremely tough and can beat a good team up pretty bad by the post season. It’s odd to me that aTm had such a soft schedule this season, the only very good SEC team they played beat them!
  18. This I can’t really argue with, if the B1G wins three in a row, they have absolutely closed the gap at the top and 3 in a row proves it. I think the B1G has consistently had one or two of the top teams for awhile, give or take a few years in the modern era. Also, the addition of Oregon and USC and others have only strengthened the conference.
  19. So you’re saying that the Southern teams have only dominated college football bc they started paying players, and otherwise the northern teams that once upon a time dominated in a much different era and landscape would have continued their dominance? If you truly believe this then I won’t even try to argue with you because it would be pointless! Come on man, you certainly know better than this!
  20. I agree, USC isn’t a southern team. This won’t be popular, but college football has been dominated in modern history by the south. While I will admit that certainly tOSU was the best team last season, I don’t think UM would have beaten UGA the year before. Neither here nor there though, it’s not Michigan’s fault that they didn’t play GA, it’s GA’s fault, so they were justifiably the champions. Maybe it’s starting to change, but the South has a bit of an advantage in that there are so many top football recruits that come from southern states, and also that in the south the NFL is secondary to college football for the most part. However, NIL and the money it brings is changing the narrative it seems. The one thing some of the big Northern teams do have access to is money, and that money can bring in southern recruits and transfers. Time will tell how things will ultimately adjust, but it’s a certainty that the dust hasn’t settled yet in the new frontier of college football! Perhaps the stranglehold that the south has had may be coming to an end, or at least the playing field is leveling.
  21. I think Moore has the highest ceiling, maybe of any QB in the Playoff. I love the fact that physically he can make any throw. He can already play at or near an elite level, but I think he has room for growth, and I think he will get even better. I hope he comes back for one more year at Oregon. Comparing him to the other first round QBs is tough. Simpson is very good, as is Chambliss. Dante certainly has more upside I believe. I’ll say this though, if I were picking one to stay for next season I would pick Moore.
  22. I agree, and while I hate to see a lesser team get ridiculously embarrassed, it needs to be done. The rules allowed for 2 g5 teams, but something should change IMO. This is kinda ridiculous
  23. JMU just needs to run the ball and stay in bounds to keep the clock running. Oregon looks good, but this just doesn’t even seem sporting.
  24. I think it will be much worse honestly. Hopefully it will be a good warmup game for the Ducks to get ready for the next round. Been awhile since they’ve played
