If the other 4 conferences have undefeated champions, then yeah the PAC 12 would miss out. I would like to think the PAC 12 champ had played a harder schedule than the ACC or the Big 12, but the committee will look at the L column and see a 1, where as the others will have a 0. However, 4 conferences having an undefeated record has not happened during the CFP existence. We haven't even played half a season yet. Way too much football left to play.

According to Title 9, the scholarships have to be proportional to the percentage of students at the University. The most recent statistics I could find were, 45% male and 55% female at the University of Oregon. If the men have 131.3, then there should be a total of 292 scholarships available at the University of Oregon. 292-131.3 = 160.7. The women are short 47.7 scholarships. I'm not sure how the articles finds 94, unless Oregon isn't offering the max allowed per women's sports. Also, the Universities don't need to have any support for club sports, so I'm not sure why/how rowing is trying to sue the University of Oregon. The CFP can't break the contract that exists thru 2024. They can't randomly change their minds about a conference. CFP isn't bound by the NCAA, but they are bound by the contract they signed. That is a nice little loophole they found.

I'll rephrase, Shedeur doesn't run the ball. ESPN has Shedeur with 25 rushes. He has been sacked 15 times, which counts as a rush. Shedeur only has 10 rushes. For comparison, Shough has 44 carries with 9 sacks.

Shedeur is better the Shough. Shedeur doesn't have designed runs like Shough does. Ducks will have to contain Shedeur and his scrambling ability. No shot Colorado is favored over Oregon. If the line is -3, then Vegas thinks it would be a toss up on a neutral field. Colorado has completely out performed what I thought they would do, but TCU is not TCU from last year and Nebraska is straight up terrible. The PAC created precedence when they told USC and UCLA they don't get any say in how the PAC moves forward once they said they were leaving. If USC and UCLA don't get a say, then the rest of the teams that are leaving don't get a say. However, the collective we don't know all the financials of the PAC. Yes, there is March Madness money, but there are also lots of money owed or the cost of doing business with the PAC. If I'm the 10 teams leaving, I let OSU and WSU deal with all that mess. I'm also not sure they actually got anything official with paying back Comcast about splitting it 12 ways. If they never voted on how that went, then OSU and WSU are holding that bag, since they are the only teams in the PAC. It isn't chump change for us individuals, but fighting over 2-4 million for schools and the optics, is silly.

It will be interesting to see if the committee and the national media give the PAC the same love they have in the past for the SEC or B1G when they have had a bunch of teams ranked.

I have never been under the belief SEC is so much better than every other conference, but their number of championships since the BCS/CFP started can' be denied.
