  1. We will always wonder how this would have played out if this season happened 2 years earlier.
  2. It is strength of schedule is of games played to date, not for the season. All the PAC 12 teams SOS will get better as they play each other.
  3. Surgery will end Tyler Shough's regular season at Texas Tech - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM Texas Tech quarterback Tyler Shough is scheduled to have surgery Tuesday on a broken left fibula that could keep him out for the rest of the regular season after suffering the injury in a loss at West... Texas Tech quarterback Tyler Shough was set to have surgery Tuesday on a broken left fibula that could keep him out for the rest of the regular season.
  4. I'll rephrase, Shedeur doesn't run the ball. ESPN has Shedeur with 25 rushes. He has been sacked 15 times, which counts as a rush. Shedeur only has 10 rushes. For comparison, Shough has 44 carries with 9 sacks.
  5. Shedeur is better the Shough. Shedeur doesn't have designed runs like Shough does. Ducks will have to contain Shedeur and his scrambling ability. It is easy to know when people are talking about Shedeur Sanders because that is the only Shedeur people have heard of. Same with Deion. There was really only one player named Deion when he played in the NFL.
  6. Not sure he will win 3 and 4. Those are too vague and widely used already.
  7. Not much of college should warrant an act of congress, but when you have 50 states with 50 different NIL laws/rules, it makes it pretty hard to have "equal" footing between colleges.
  8. I went to Fleetwood's restaurant in December 2022. Best food I had in Hawaii. Lahaina was a cozy little town. When they rebuild, I hope they plan it better. It was poorly designed for car traffic.
  9. An interesting dilemma. I would expect the state of Oregon to be 70/30 towards the Ducks, but maybe it is 50/50 and Canzano will have to split his time. However, other than some times talking to a PSU coach, he doesn't bother with lesser universities. P4 > G6.
  10. No shot Colorado is favored over Oregon. If the line is -3, then Vegas thinks it would be a toss up on a neutral field. Colorado has completely out performed what I thought they would do, but TCU is not TCU from last year and Nebraska is straight up terrible. I expect the line to open around -7 for the Ducks, then get bet down because everybody will be betting Colorado. Colorado is going to get humbled by Oregon and USC in weeks 4 and 5.
  11. We're just about three months away from the early signing period in December and while the Oregon Ducks boast the nation's No. 12 recruiting class, the coaching staff is still working relentlessly to land some of the nation's top players--committed or uncommitted. We've seen recent developments on the recruiting trail with top Oregon targets like Aydin Breland and Brandon Baker, but it looks like we have a new name to track this week. Oregon has entered the mix for five-star (0.9961 per 247Sports Composite) Temple (Tex.) Lake Belton wide receiver Micah Hudson, according to Sam Spiegelman of On3 Sports. Hudson is the No. 2-ranked wide receiver in the 2024 class. 12. When discussing 2024 Oregon Ducks quarterback commit Michael Van Buren, there's one thing we can say with absolute 100% confidence. By the time he gets to Eugene in January to enroll with the Ducks, he's going to be battle-tested. Van Buren and the St. Frances Academy Panthers may still be searching for their first win this season entering week 5, but it's certainly not for a lack of talent. Their schedule has taken them all across the country and pinned them against many of the nation's premier programs. 13. The PAC created precedence when they told USC and UCLA they don't get any say in how the PAC moves forward once they said they were leaving. If USC and UCLA don't get a say, then the rest of the teams that are leaving don't get a say. However, the collective we don't know all the financials of the PAC. Yes, there is March Madness money, but there are also lots of money owed or the cost of doing business with the PAC. If I'm the 10 teams leaving, I let OSU and WSU deal with all that mess. I'm also not sure they actually got anything official with paying back Comcast about splitting it 12 ways. If they never voted on how that went, then OSU and WSU are holding that bag, since they are the only teams in the PAC. It isn't chump change for us individuals, but fighting over 2-4 million for schools and the optics, is silly.
  14. It will be interesting to see if the committee and the national media give the PAC the same love they have in the past for the SEC or B1G when they have had a bunch of teams ranked.
  15. I have never been under the belief SEC is so much better than every other conference, but their number of championships since the BCS/CFP started can' be denied.
  16. I know I wouldn't want Wilcox as a head coach, but he was a very good to great DC.
  17. @Red Eddy Green There is an article about it. It has a picture of it. Jamal Hill provides origins of Oregon's 'Big Play Scepter' 247SPORTS.COM Oregon unveiled a new sideline tradition this past weekend. When a player makes a big play, a sneaker mounted on a metal pole is presented for ensuing celebrations.
  18. It is amazing how everybody forgets he was fired for abusing his players at Texas Tech. He wasn't as bad as Bobby Knight, but he wasn't exactly a saint either.
  19. I get your point Dr. Hilarius, but if I'm the player, I keep my mouth shut.
  20. Cal and Stanford won't get an equal share until year 10. They won't move from 30% to 75% until year 7. Yikes. Stanford can afford it, but Cal not so much, even with UCLA handing over 10 mil per year.
  21. Lazy journalism. USC and Oregon are B1G TEN schools in 2026.
  22. The title of this thread is misleading because journalist Chris Rosvoglou straight up misquoted George. Pac-12 commissioner George Kliavkoff says he’s focused on his league “winning a national championship,” as he rushed by reporters to catch a flight.
  23. Do we expect anything else from this comedy of errors conference? The PAC should know every last player under suspension for ejections. That is not hard information to have. Riley should have known, but the PAC is the CEO and they HAVE to know.
