  1. Kind of what I’ve been saying about the Ducks smaller backs and receivers. When you get to the top, play the best teams, and definitely in NFL, the physics matters. LMJ didn’t have Kenyons bulk. it’s hard to stay healthy in the NFL even if you’ve got the body. If you don’t, most don’t survive or even make it there in the first place.
  2. Curious what Cyrus knows or knew and or when. Might have affected his choice.
  3. The caliber of players entering the transfer portal is high. while, I wanted to see what another year in the weight room did for CHL his carries we’re going to disappear if dollars and benson develop and I suspect he knows that He lacks straight line speed and lateral flexión in his hips. He shows little separation in torso and hips. Good not elite. A Solid player and sounds like he’s a solid dude. Wish him well and hope he proves me wrong.
  4. Absolutely Love CJ but the Ducks need new backs, faster, bigger backs, backs with breakaway speed. Backs with hard pounding between the tackle durability and strength. Same goes at receiver. The seniors returning are not very big and not exceptionally fast. It matters. I Love them, their contributions their hard work, heart, and effort but football is also about physics and when performance is otherwise equal bigger stronger and faster usually wins. Speed kills in college. I actually hope they each get beat out for significant playing time this year. Not because I don’t like them but because to win a natty you need size and speed at WR and a punishing running back for the 4th quarter. Physics matters. And when you compare the Ducks to the best teams our skill talent is slower shorter and not always dominant.
  5. Youth is significant. So is experience. The Ducks often cannot beat the opposition in the trenches and lack size and speed at WR and RB. These things can and should change with each recruiting class. Speed kills and we’re not the fastest team anymore. Physics matters in football. Big and fast bests slow and short.
