The 1994 unis are probably my favorite. And the USC game just might be the right time to bring back these "perfect" unis.
July 12, 20232 yr Moderator I'm old. But, I am partial to the newer uniforms. That being said. I feel once a year these uniforms should be used for a BIG game. USC is a great choice for this year! Remind the soft boys from USC what GANG GREEN feels like!

We do need to set some boundaries on the throwback thing. Dan is wearing Adidas, simple black might be cool, but Nike all the way. The cheerleader is in a full plaid bib overalls, and the big collars, that isn't going to work, ever again! Those two style combos need to be put 8' deep. July 13, 20232 yr I'm cool with a throwback uniform. We saw it in 2014 against Washington for the anniversary of the pick. I also wouldn't mind seeing the uniforms from the early 2010's come back. Those were real nice looking (granted I really started following Oregon at that time so there's my bias). Granted the early 2010s was really peak bonkers in a lot of ways. Also... Chrome helmets... Wouldn't mind seeing those again.
July 13, 20232 yr Ok here’s my 2 cents… I absolutely love the idea of wearing throwbacks once a year for big home games. cartm25… I love your excitement and enthusiasm but those uniforms… I know some people loved them and clearly you fall into that camp, I just can’t get there. I happen to own and display at work my game worn throwback helmet (I’ll post a picture tomorrow). Love the simple yellow helmet with the UO sticker, I even have the little stickers players earned for outstanding play. I personally would love to see the throwback uniforms Mariota and the team wore. Thanks for hearing me out, us old folks love that! 😂

July 13, 20232 yr I’m not into “throwback” uniforms. Clothing and design have moved on, mostly for the better. But perhaps the players find it cool and the uniforms are for them, not us.

I still have PTSD over seeing Oregon wear blue and the orange. Those two uniforms in 2016 played a small part in Helfrich losing his job. I am sure of it!
