David Marsh No. 1 Share Posted November 4, 2023 It seems Oregon has been banished to the pac-12 network today... Again. This is our fourth game on the network this year. The Ducks haven't been on the network this much for a very long time, of ever. Next week we'll get something with more visibility but we may be back on the pac-12 for ASU. Charles Fischer Administrator No. 2 Share Posted November 4, 2023 It is incredible to consider the stations we will be on next year....every week! So many more people will see us, and this year will raise their curiosity for 2024, thus a much larger audience. And if I never have to listen to some of the lame announcers on the Pac-12 Network again--that is a plus. All these years we've been on the Pac-12 Network, and they still pronounce Eugene wrong. It is not YEW-gene, with the accent on the first syllable, but you-GENE instead. Sounds weird...and they still mess it up. 1 2 5 Mr. FishDuck
Jon Joseph Moderator No. 3 Share Posted November 4, 2023 One of the beauties of the 2024 season is The Big 10 Network. BTN is closing in on 70M subscribers. A viable entity, unlike Larry's functionally insolvent network. BTN has provided more extensive coverage of the 'Pac-4' B1G teams than the Pac-12 network has provided in over a decade. And this includes coverage of nonrevenue sports. It's like watching color TV after years of watching black + white TV. CBS, Fox. and NBC will all be sharing in the B1G game inventory. It's a New B1Gger and brighter day. 1

Just Ducky No. 6 Share Posted November 4, 2023 I’ve stated many times on this site my disgust and frustration of the p? Network. One of the many reasons that this great league of champions will be dissolved. Once again the powers at be have relegated the Ducks game behind the door that is shut for so many fans. There is no reason in the world why this should be happening to any top 10 program. 3
David Marsh Author No. 7 Share Posted November 4, 2023 Looking at the slate of games today ... Probably the only spot that the Oregon game could be reasonably "traded" for is the Oregon State v Colorado game... That's ESPN at 7pm start time. I say traded for is because sure Oregon is a top 10 team but Cal's record isn't great and the Bay area fans arent exactly an audience that will tune in in droves. The Colorado OSU game will get a good amount of eyeballs for the same reasons why Colorado has gotten eyeballs all year. Only pac-12 game on a major broadcast network is Washington v USC which makes sense... It's the best game in the conference this week. The only other not pac-13 network game remaining is UCLA v Arizona at 7:30 kickoff... This is a week that pac has been relegated to the back burner.
HDuck No. 8 Share Posted November 4, 2023 CBS, Fox, NBC....and FS1, BTN and Peacock. Paramount+ ? Today 1 - CBS 1 - Fox 1 - FS1 1 - NBC 1 - Peacock 2 - BTN Pacific Time for games today 3 - 9:00 am 3 - 12:30 pm 1 - 4:30 pm
Just Ducky No. 9 Share Posted November 4, 2023 There are only 2 teams in the top 20 that are not on a major network today and they both reside in the Pack? Talk about disrespect. And schedule and time slots are changed all the time so I don’t see a problem. Only problem is the pack? Network.
OregonDucks No. 10 Share Posted November 4, 2023 I'm not looking forward to potentially playing on Peacock next year. At least the Pac-12 Network is included in my cable sports package. I'll have to figure out how to watch those games, as there is no way I'm signing up for Peacock.

If you do you automatically have peacock. Also peacock has had a sub deal out there for 99 cents a month. Not a huge fan paying it but $12 a year is a lot cheaper than anything else out there. Yes, but now they are charging for content on Peacock, such as live sports. It was probably a free trial period on Comcast but now NBC wants to get paid. I like the Ohio State fan’s reaction when they realized that one of their games this year was going to be on Peacock. What the heck is Peacock and how do I get it?! I wasn't aware of the live sports fee potentially. But if you use your Xfinity log in it might work. I ditched Comcast last year so I'm not 100% sure at the moment.

Nevada Dawg No. 20 Share Posted November 5, 2023 So many outlets in my area (Carson City) do not carry the PAC-12 network. One day last year, a friend and I tried every casino in town hoping to locate a Duck game on the dreaded channel. We had no luck. Not even the large casinos at Stateline have the PAC-12 network. I found it interesting that, while visiting friends in the greater Boston, MA area last weekend, the PAC-12 channel was available on Comcast, Of course, I can't get it here on my Spectrum subscription even though I do get the ACC channel. What do you suppose that is all about!

woundedknees No. 23 Share Posted November 6, 2023 (edited) Probably some goofball trying to pronounce it the way the historical (or is it hysterical?)
