OBDers, if you can, check out the Big Ten Network's visit to the Ohio State Fall Camp to see a determined Day, Chip, and a lot of quality athletes with experience. 19 million folks watched the Ohio State at Michigan game last season. OBD and the Buckeyes are both 5-0 coming into the game on 10/12 and it won't be 19 million but it could be Oegon's most-watched game in the history of Oregon football. 10/12 should be an amazing Saturday. In addition to Buckeyes vs Ducks, there is The Red River Rivalry, Ole Miss at LSU, Penn State at USC, and U Who at Iowa. Chip Kelly was not very successful at UCLA, but then again comparing the wealth of players he has now compare to UCLA... No matter how you shake it out, OSU's most weaknesses on their team are there QB and OL. Oregon will try and capitalize on. He discussed a range of topics from NIL — which Bjork previously said the No. 2 Buckeyes spent $20 million on for this football roster alone — to the forthcoming revenue sharing model stemming from antitrust lawsuits by athletes against the NCAA. Bjork said that as a result of revenue sharing — which would allow schools to share up to 22% of revenue with athletes, with most of that money expected to be distributed to revenue sports such as football and men’s basketball — Ohio State expects to lose about 150 athletes with a goal of maintaining all 36 of its varsity sports. This new reality is most likely to impact smaller sports that don’t generate nearly as much revenue as football and men’s basketball, and possibly put some teams’ existence in jeopardy. Sure Oregon didn't cover against MSU. Probably for two reasons... 1. Gabriel had two bad interceptions that could have been points. 2. The defensivr starters got to sit on the bench and give the backups some time. That's when MSU scored. They didn't score on our starters. This preview seems to be more usual easy coast fare...
