Where does your team rank following Week 1 of the college football season? FOX Sports' RJ Young...

Can't disagree with this.  Oregon is lucky to be still ranked in the top 10 after that stinker of a performance.

After Saturday's performance, I think that is generous.

But hopefully, we'll see a different team against BSU.

That is generous. I'd throw them out of the top 20.

One other positive about last Saturday is that we didn't open up against BSU.

Hopefully, the punch OBD took from Idaho was the wakeup call we needed.

After once again drinking the kool-aid, I sure hope this is the case.

Dropped to 10 in ESPN's FPI; however, I see no lower than No. 7 in the Coaches and AP Polls.

Doesn't RJ Young (who?) know that FOX Sports is supposed to be Puddles partner?

I'm hoping Boise will slip into the top 25. Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State (should move up,) Michigan, Iowa (a chance to climb if the Hawkeyes defeat Iowa State,) and USC (should move up) will stay in the top 25. If Nebraska defeats CU, and Illinois defeats Kansas they could move into the top 25.

How far will 13 LSU and 20 A+M drop?  Does an SEC team losing to a top 25 team count as a loss?

If we were simply ranked based on game 1, no preseason rankings, we'd be borderline unranked based on the eye test.

I have to say, I watched UCLA play Hawaii, and I was a bit jealous UCLA got to play a team full of tiny guys playing undisciplined, making lots of first game mistakes. Same goes for Arizona vs. New Mexico.

Although I was also jealous of all the other teams playing exciting football in offense. I can't believe how incapable we were of pushing the ball down the field in the absence of a running game.

Very generous ranking by the pollsters.  Happy is a very postive, cup half full, Oregon honk, I expected a little lower ranking. This ranking is good. All things considered WW2

Other than Notre Dame, the TOP 10 is nothing but SEC and BIG teams. Any loss or poor performance by any team and there is a long line of teams positioned to step into the Top Ten.

Of course head to head games will settle the rankings thru the course of the season.

Point is, dont fall out of the Top 10. That means no close game against the next 3 opponents.

As long as the O Line starters can get on the field I am confident the Ducks offense will and can get on track before the game against the Buckeyes.

However, the pollsters have made 3 things clear to OBD's:

We expect much more from you

to remain in the hunt for CFP.

Beat the tar out of the teams you

are supposed to beat up ...

We respect you enough to keep

you in the top 10. Now prove it

on the field. You used your get

     out of jail free card.

We will find out a great deal about the 2024 squad and coaching staff against BSU.

GO Ducks........

Spoiled Children at No. 7!   I guess they definitely had a better quality win than OBD, unfortunately...

Lots of football to be played.

Oregon has a great shot at redemption this weekend.

Having a game that feels like a loss but isn't one on the stat sheet can be a very good thing to get everyone on track.
