That was a big one....

And it should hopefully get the ball rolling again in recruiting.

Sounds like this will be a small class, so will be tough to crack the top-5…but I like the look of our current “Star Average”, #1 on Rivals at least.

Depends on the recruiting service. Some services do take the quantity into account while others do not for their final rankings.

But the biggest thing that usually matters is average rating.

If you sign 30 3 stars that's not better than signing 15 4 stars.

Tit for Tennessee TE tat!

Way to go Danno.

Please, explain to me again what the word 'Commitment' means.

Not completely true..the greater the number of individuals, the higher the probability of finding better players. Simple statistics.

If I had 100 3 stars I'd argue I could field a better team than from 20 4 stars, especially at the college level.

This is one of the very rare instances where Rivals rates a player a 5-Star, when the others put him at 4-Star. To make matters more interesting...he is on the offensive line where we need the quality help!

We know that besides Oregon and Tennessee--that this young man was also offered by Washington, (Ha!) USC, Penn State, Oklahoma, Michigan, Alabama, Texas A&M, Georgia, Miami and Ohio StateWhew!

Commitment is a common step that precedes NIL bidding wars for top players. Allows fans to project future team success, at least for a month or two.

To be fair…Statistically, he did use a 2 to 1 ratio, and you changed it to a 5 to 1 ratio.

No offense to TEs, but I’d much rather have beef on OL.

I would ALSO like a tight end...

I have a feeling we'll get one soon enough.

This is such a huge pickup.  I think the O-line is the thing that has had me worried the most about the upcoming seasons.  It is so important to get the big uglies up front in order to dominate the line of scrimmage.  Probably has as much to do with the fact that I haven't seen many of the youngsters play since we haven't had much garbage time.
