Posted October 15, 2024Oct 15 Utah's Cam Rising is out for the year again, this time with a leg injury. IF Rising returns for another year, he may surpass another Cam (McCormick) as college footballs "Methuselah". When do you call it a day? Strange to think about but if Rising plays next year, some of his teammates would have been 4th/5th graders when he started his college career. October 15, 2024Oct 15 At this point I believe that it is just the Legend of Cam Rising and he has Not actually proven to be real. Kinda like Icabob Crane and The Headless Horseman. Cam Rising legendary existence will fade into the "history of" the Utah football program. Such is life? Or proof of life? 😆
October 15, 2024Oct 15 Feel bad for him but, at some point, you have to start thinking of your long-term health.

October 15, 2024Oct 15 If you want to play college football forever... just be named "Cam" at this point.
October 15, 2024Oct 15 I have to think he is one main reason Utah isn't good this year. His stats were pretty meh and they don't have a decent backup. Whittingham is too loyal to Rising to see straight and plan for the future of the team. If Rising does come back for 8th season, Utah will be bad again because he won't last.
October 15, 2024Oct 15 Cam Rising looked old to me three years ago. This weekend he looked over the hill. He was fun to watch in his day, but his day was three years ago.
October 15, 2024Oct 15 Cam Rising looks like the disguise Baker Mayfield wore when he punked his fans. He could play in the U37 league and no one would bat an eye! Edited October 15, 2024Oct 15 by Babyjesus615
October 15, 2024Oct 15 Moderator When Whittingham retires, maybe Rising will become the first player/ coach in college football history.
