IF Rising returns for another year, he may surpass another Cam (McCormick) as college footballs "Methuselah". When do you call it a day? Strange to think about but if Rising plays next year, some of his teammates would have been 4th/5th graders when he started his college career. Kinda like Icabob Crane and The Headless Horseman. Cam Rising legendary existence will fade into the "history of" the Utah football program. Such is life? DuckFan93 No. 6 Share Posted 15 hours ago I have to think he is one main reason Utah isn't good this year. His stats were pretty meh and they don't have a decent backup. Whittingham is too loyal to Rising to see straight and plan for the future of the team. If Rising does come back for 8th season, Utah will be bad again because he won't last.
