Agreed, he hasn’t recovered the elusive explosiveness since his injury.

Can someone inform the offense that halftime is over?

I'm afraid that I agree with David Marsh about Whittington.  He does not seem to be the same runner yet, as he was before being injured.  A bit concerning to me.

Need some tackling practice.

That should have been a fumble recovery.

The fingertip on the sideline would have negated it on review...

It seems that Will Stein is letting off the gas for the offense. Feels too early for that.

That free play helped...

Limar? Harris? Would be nice to see if someone in addition to James can tote the rock. Well, okay, an outstanding catch by Whittington will do!

Great catch by Whittington!!

Whittington has done well at receiver... But as a runningback? Not feeling it.

That was a fantastic catch!

Nice, Whit!

Whittington is still stuck in his head about the injury. Playing scared in a strange sort of way. If he's truly our 2nd best RB, then we need to use James sparingly through the season unless we are on track to lose.

Whittington also isn't reading where to go well.

I was hoping Harris would be used, but he's still behind Limar, which is disappointing.

Kudos to Whittington on that catch though. Outstanding.

Did something happen to james

All around great drive and playmaking by Whittington.

Pre injury Whittington wasn't great at a lot of those reads either in truth. If the read is right then he gets big yards if it isn't then he doesn't.

The problem is that he doesn't feel consistent.

Gotta give it to Purdue...

They are fantastic at punting.

Pellum just earned my trust as a returner without even running.

McClellan!

Harris and Limar both looking good on that drive.

Seems Oregon's rolling just fine with the 2's and 3's.

Limar & Harris!

Fielding the punt is the no. 1, 2 and 3 most important parts of punt return.

Then running.

I would really like to see the defense preserve this shutout!  A 35-0 victory on the road against a team that hung 49 on Illinois in a loss says a lot.

I don't know what is holding back Harris in practice, he seems good, although I could have probably scored on that last play.

Harris a Limar certainly seem to want it more when they are out there.

Anybody else tired of these announcers?  Babble about everything but the game!  Yuck!

Taking of business every night

Harris to the end zone standing upright

Taking care of business doing fine

And no working any overtime. 😍👌👍

Safe Home!

Take the Fight Out of the Illini!

Where is Flowers anyways? Dude was expected to be in the two deep at the beginning of the year, he isn't even on the field with the backups. I see Woodyard and Turner out there.

Novosad is on the field instead of Dante Moore. I think he's the backup, not Moore. Good for him!

Backup punter gets one off.

Novasad in before Moore. Could be Justified vs. UCLA to keep Moore safe, but not against Purdue.

Did Novasad pass him on the depth chart? Inquiring minds want to know.

I've long since belief Moore will never start for the Ducks. Too Blaise and not intuitive enough, much like Thompson.

I hope I'm wrong, because he has a heck of an arm.

Wait, what!? Mclallan is playing both ways?

First road shutout in 32Years!

Good job second and third team defense!!!

2's and 3's vs Purdon'ts 1's

... My, how the Duck has turned!

WOW!!!!!!!!

The DB’s are rapidly becoming a strength for this team. Less than 100 yards passing for Purdue on nine completions.

Several saving tackles.

Somewhere a Beavis is crying.

I believe they are preserving Moore’s redshirt.

Nice to see Alexander get an INT on good coverage.

"Novasad in before Moore."

Each has now participated in two games.  Four game or less rule still in effect to preserve eligibility for a redshirt year.  Bowl games no longer count towards the 4.

I started another new thread about the game--let's go there and you can start more threads about the game.  My thanks!

Probably. But Moore can participate in four games and still redshirt. Novo was a 4* recruit purloined from Baylor. He came to Oregon with talent and has an extra year of experience playing for Coach Stein compared to Moore.

Hard to evaluate QB talent on every level of football.

In today's CFB, Oregon's 2025 QB could be playing for another team.
