Thank you, Alabama for somehow beating Georgia. Without doing that you might not have lost to Vandy...and Tennessee.

Lot's of errors from both teams. Texas failing to impress, BIG time!

Texas is slowly losing the battle in the trenches.

Kirby is sure doing his boy Dan a solid tonight. Ducks will be number one tomorrow. Thanks Kirby!

So far Archie’s not doing any better.

So, who's the poor guy in charge of selling Season tickets at U$C?

NCAA Division 2 Game of the week. #1 Harding University up 13-10 over #11 Ouachita Baptist University at the half.

What would you do?

"Mr. Lanning sir?  It's Quinn Ewers.  I've decided to stay another year and I don't like me current home.  Do you think I could come live with you for a year?"

Meanwhile the test subjects are drifting into Reser for the UNLV-Oregon State game.

Georgia gets a sack, next play a fumble, recovered by Georgia,

Saban spent 40 or so minutes on GameDay describing how Sark's incredibly, multi- dimensional offense would have Georgia's defense on its heels.

Georgia 23 Texas 0

Sooooo I'm guessing we'll be number 1 unless we see some sort of amazing comeback....though I'm sure there will be plenty of number 1 votes for Georgia even with the loss earlier in the season.

It will feel very very weird as I don't feel like we're the no. 1 team.  Just feels like a very weird season with all the change.  I think playing Purdue yesterday was the first time where I just felt like it was bizarre.  Weird environment there, weird game, weird to play a second time on a Friday, we dominated yet we gave up 200+ yards rushing.  Just nothing feels right to me.

Don't know that I love being #1 this early in the campaign. That's an awful big target on your back from here on out, but, what are going to do? Trust the process. Shut out the noise. Play for your brothers. FEBU!

In the FCS  we have #1 S. Dakota State over #2 N. Dakota State 9-7 at the half.

I think the question of "Any B1G Regrets?" ought to be asked of USC fans right now?

Did USC let Riley on the plane?

They've done it before, Pat Haden left Lane Kiffin on the tarmac.

Slowly? It’s like an avalanche!

This Georgia defense is playing like we expected them to from the beginning of the season. I love how they are disguising coverages and blitzing. Their linebackers fly around and make tackles in the open field. Hopefully, Coach Lanning brings more of this defense to Oregon, as he seems to play much more conservatively to not give up the explosion play.

Hearing lots of chatter that Texas has played sub par teams to this point and now playing a “real” team they are getting exposed!

as I’m typing this Texas is driving… that said, Texas is getting exposed. Not much space between the current top 3 teams.

There goes the shutout.  Texas converts 2 point conversion, Geogia 23 Texas 8.

USC is back.  Back to last year.  They MAY get bowl eligible this year.

Meanwhile, Memphis is calling Bama to see if they can get on the schedule this season. Alabama is 0-2 in the state of Tennessee this season.

Texas moving the ball better.

Brutal call. I fear for that refs safety after that one

Holy guacamole,  they reversed it! That call was abysmal and for once the zebras did the right thing.

Touchdown, Texas. 23-15. You might want to turn your offense on again, Georgia.

Love to see ol’ p.o’d Kirby Smart waggin’ that index finger at the ref——who called it right.  Made me laugh!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen officials reverse a call that late. Very questionable.

Moral of the story - if you see a questionable call, throw your drinks on the field. It will give the officials more time to talk it over and reconsider.

They chatted it over after all the bottle throwing delayed the game.

I don't know if they ever get a call on the Ref Central Batphone, but they sure reconsidered in a hurry.

Wiierdest case of buckeling to the crowd I have seen. Should be a penalty for throwing all those bottles. Remember the injured Oregon cheerleader?

UCF just pulled a Kaelin Clay on a pick six and dropped the ball before the end zone.  Iowa State recovered it so no touchdown.

NCAA D2 Game of the Week. Defending National Champion #1 Harding University upset by #11 Ouachita Baptist University 17-13 in Arkadelphia, AR (birthplace of Bo Nix).

Wow.  That was quite a response by Georgia.  Texas seemed primed to take over that game.

Third time's the charm, Georgia goes up, 30-15.

I'm surprised at that play call on 4th down but happy they made it.  A FG puts you up by 11 and even with an unanswered TD and FG you still win.  Gutsy.

Georgia recovers Texas fumble.

UCF is up 35-30 on #9 Iowa State with 4:30 left in the 4th.

So, is Illinois that good, or is Michigan that bad? Seeing how they lost to the disgusting dawgs up north, Michigan may just be that bad.

Edited by Chas Man

Georgia's gotta burn some clock.

Michigan is BAD.  Illinois ALMOST lost to Purdue, 50-49

They used a whole 36 seconds on that drive. Some bad coaching decisions by Georgia here in the 4th.
