The Ole Miss at Florida game could be much better than expected.  I hate to say it but Florida is much better than people think, and the game is in Gainesville.  It wouldn’t surprise me if they upset the Rebels.  Lagway is young but already a very good QB.

Watching the GameDay preview of the tOSU v IU match-up leaning  pretty heavy Bucknut advantage.

 

Nice profile of Caleb Downs with loads of big play tape. Lots of TFLs, PBUs and a pick or two on every opponent except..... Oregon. The one clip shows him making a downfield tackle on James after what must've been a big gain.

 

Downs will end up a 1st round pick and is immensely talented but it's gratifying to see that the Ducks more or less kept him from having a big day at Autzen. The GameDay crew had to reach to find a standout play from that October meeting.

Gotta love it, USC-UCLA, 7:30, on Peacock.

I’m watching some D2 Football playoff action. The Harding (AR) Bisons are leading the Pittsburgh State (KS) Gorillas 7-3. I came to the conclusion that there are not enough teams out there with the gorilla as a mascot. Very underrated.

I love coaches complaining of potentially not making the playoffs and then losing a game to a .500 team!

Ole Miss going down is the best thing to happen to Indiana today. They have a bit more wiggle room to make the playoffs now.

And coaches shouldn't complain when you only beat .500 teams and don't make the playoffs. 

I think Florida admin is feeling better about their decision to extend Napier for another season. 

 

This Florida team is putting it together. 

 

Sometimes programs take time to get the culture in place and the players and get everything working in the same direction.

I agree, they have an emerging leader in Lagway and they have talent.  They will be trouble in the SEC next season.

ASU winning, and aTm down big early makes me happy.  "Clicks" and Kiffen both losing...priceless!
