I was hoping for yellow helmet, green jersey, green pants….not sure we’ve seen that this season and that would be squarely in our traditional color scheme.. I do feel like if they don't have a green version of that template that they're kind of regretting it at this point, since it feels like we haven't seen any of the throwback looks since the first half of the season. Kind of painted ourselves into a black/yellow (and white) corner in terms of modern looks. Also interesting that the white fly era has nightmare/iridescent numbers like our alternate whites have had for the past several years, but there's no dark green uni elements to be seen (as of yet?). Side note: I just realized, one of the nicer/cleaner looks that could come from this uni set is Chrome/White (fly era) jersey/Grey pants, and we likely won't see it because (assuming we win the CCG), we'll always be the higher seed, unless we opt to wear white. MicroBurst61 No. 15 Share Posted December 5 Good Combo for the "wrapping up" of the B1G conference in our first year. I guarantee that as OBD advances through each round of the playoffs (3 or 4 games) that the uniform combos will get more and more "fresh", with a nod to tradition. When we make it to the Natty I would Love to see the 'ole "Duck" pushing through, not the original "O", but the new "O" (on same green helmet as this combo). For me that would not only look cool , but would pay homage to the 25 year history of OBD's journey to finally winning a Natty. As long as the playa's "bring it" they could be outfitted in whatever color scheme / combo you can think of, just as long as they Win It while looking goood in doing so!
