Steven A Moderator No. 2 Share Posted December 9 I think/hope so. It does not bother me in regard to the "draw" we have. Once in the "tournament" to be the Champion you have to beat everyone in front of you. If someone beats you, then they deserve to move on.

It bothers me because you should get a more favorable path as the #1 seed. That said, there is not a damn thing you can do about it this year so we’ll have to line up and beat anyone they put in front of us. FEBU!
Just Ducky No. 4 Share Posted December 9 We all knew that the playoff seeding would be screwed up. It is what it is. If the Ducks play their game and avoid mistakes then they should be able to run the gauntlet. Is it fair, absolutely not. Is it doable, absolutely. MicroBurst61 No. 5 Share Posted December 9 The next three games for OBD are the "bowling pins". OBD is the "bowling ball"! Three strikes in the "tenth" (ok...14th, 15th, 16th) for the (National Championship) WIN! 's

Jon Sousa No. 7 Share Posted December 9 We just didn't know that we had to play the championship game on January 1 in the Rose Bowl...
DanLduck No. 8 Share Posted December 9 After beating Penn St, we will have to beat tOSU, then probably beat Georgia, all before facing someone in the Natty. That's like winning 3 national championship before actually winning the Championship! Oh well. One at a time. Bring em on! We can do it. And I hope we get UGA. We got a score to settle with those Dawgs!
Mike West No. 9 Share Posted December 9 I won’t mind the challenge so long as OBD play clean games. The offense is playing top shelf football. It may be a big blessing for the defense to get a wake up call. They don’t;t want to repeat last year, so they’re probably going to work harder than they have all season. 1 1
HappyToBeADuck No. 10 Share Posted December 9 Well for years we have been yelling and screaming for a shot? For the chance to get to settle issues on the field...... Now we have that chance at the highest competitive possible! It is OBD'S greatest football opportuniy. We have beaten 3 BIG Bluebloods with NATTY Trophies in the building. It looks like we may have to beat 3 SEC bluebloods, all with Natty trophies in the trophy case. Or repeat against tOSU or PSU. 6 Top 12 wins in one season. Who has ever done that? This old geezer is going to turn all my positive energy to this great 2024 Duck team. GO DUCKS....its all in front of you. HOW AWESOME! 1 2 1
mikethehiker No. 11 Share Posted December 9 If we run the table, I think our first round game against Ohio St. or Tennessee will be our toughest game. I'm not convinced that Georgia's offense can execute at the level needed (even with Beck) to get to the championship. Texas' resume leaves a lot to be desired with Michigan and Texas A&M being their biggest wins of the year. They played the entire bottom half of the SEC conference with Georgia as the only exception. They miraculously missed Alabama, Tennessee, LSU, South Carolina, and Ole Miss. However, it would be glorious to beat nearly every playoff team at least once this year on our way to our first championship.
