He is a Rivals 4-Star, and had offers from Oregon, Alabama, Penn State,

Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Clemson, USC, LSU, etc. etc.

I admit to being very surprised at this, as he is from Mobile Alabama,

and followed the 'Tide as a fan. Cool!

Mr. FishDuck

Awesome.

Now we have a 'tank' to go with our 'Jett'.

We also have a 'Messiah' to go with our 'Immanuel'

And we have a 'Prince' to sing along with our leave it to 'Beaver'.

Whom did I leave out?

Tank you, DL. You're a fantastic recruiter.

Looks like he might have been more of a Saban fan.

Meet Oregon's 2026 class

Oregon jumps four spots in 2026 Team Recruiting Rankings and rejoins the Top 10

The Oregon Ducks have moved back inside the Top 10 for the 2026 Team Recruiting Rankings.

The Oregon Ducks now hold commitments from 16 prospects in the 2026 recruiting class following Anthony Jones' decision to commit to the Ducks over Alabama and Texas A&M. His commitment also ensures the Ducks move up in the 2026 Recruiting Rankings, and the Ducks made a big jump in the process. Jones also becomes one of the Ducks' highest-rated commits along the edge or weakside defensive edge position group in its recruiting era history.

Going into the day, the Ducks were ranked No. 11 in the country with 15 verbal commitments and a team score of 265.89. Following Jones' decision to commit to the Ducks, Oregon moves up four spots to No. 7 overall. The Ducks passed Miami, Michigan, LSU, and Ohio State in the process.

Oregon's class now stands at 16 players with a team score of 277.41. The Ducks' per-recruit-average also continues to remain the best number in the country with the addition of Jones.

Oregon is No. 6 in the nation currently with Rivals, and this class now has THREE edge rushers.

It is hard to know "who" is really good, so Danno is recruiting them, and getting them here to find out. It helps to assure a great future pass rush!

Oregon Leaps Alabama in Updated Recruiting Rankings

While you are still dancing, or slapping hands or taking celebratory shots at 11 AM (Pacific), Oregon is leap-frogging Alabama in the latest recruiting rankings.

Oregon had the No. 7 class in the nation to start the day. But with the addition of five-star EDGE Anthony ‘Tank’ Jones, Oregon swapped spots with Alabama to end up at No. 6.

The Ducks have one of the most impressive classes in the country with only 16 verbal commitments. This list is built on quality not quantity. Oregon’s average commit rating sits at an astonishing 92.47. The class is made up of 87% blue chip recruits.

With the addition of five-star EDGE Anthony Jones, Oregon has move up ahead of Alabama in the adjusted recruiting rankings.

The rating per recruit seems to be a more accurate way to measure a class.
