Note it is NOT the winged yellow helmet, I like both, but I gotta know--do we have more than one green helmet?

Oregon drops the cleanest, sharpest uniforms for Big Ten...

New uniform looks motivate players and catch the attention of recruits.

These are sharp. Whomever is picking the uniforms this year has done a terrific job so far, IMO.

I’m curious to see what they pick for the Penn State game. Do they go with the all whites (aka storm trooper uniforms) for the white out?

Dan Lanning Reacts to Oregon Ducks Fans Asking for Inflatable Duck Appearance

Wading above the White River rapids in Indiana, an inflatable version of the Oregon Duck mascot stunned fans at Big Ten media days last year. Dan Lanning answers if the inflatable will make a visit outside of Martin Stadium for Oregon vs Northwestern.

Though Lanning didn't consider the massive balloon, the Northwestern Wildcats sure did. Northwestern head coach David Braun even addressed the potential of the giant Duck floating outside of Martin Stadium when previewing the matchup against Oregon.

“I have thought about that,” Braun said. “We’re going to have to figure something out. We can’t have any ducks floating around on game day.”

The venue is surrounded on three sides by Lake Michigan, and is a part of Northwestern's Lakefront Athletics and Recreation Complex making it the perfect venue to bring a giant water-based statement if you're an opposing team.

“It’s been amazing seeing duck fans so quickly adopt into the Oregon flock. Oregon is always ready to make a big splash and is consistently innovative with their marketing, and we wanted to do something that would turn heads," said Jacobi Mehringer and Andrew Chhour of Oregon-based ad agency Wieden + Kennedy, the minds behind the giant Duck.

The marketing agency also teased future projects with the program.

We’re going to keep showing up in mighty different ways in the coming months,” the agency said shortly after the Indianapolis promotion. “So stay tuned.”

Just a year ago, an inflatable Oregon Duck drifting on the White River in Indianapolis shocked fans visiting the Ducks' first Big Ten Media Days. Now, with No.

They look great. Great remake of retro. I do hope Lightning Yellow comes back

Assuming we are using the same uniforms form last year (so far we are more or less a helmet) I suspect the bright yellow will be back at some point this season.

We have a retro jersey set Green (top, pants and helmet), Retro Yellow (helmet, pants) and a white retro (top and pants).

The other set we have is a more modern color pallet in Black, Lightning Yellow, and White.

My biggest criticism of the uniforms from last year (and probably this year) is that we have two distinct color pallets and they don't mix and match really.

That’s my only beef as well. When we mix and match the different pallets together it doesn’t quite work. I believe there is a green helmet with a black O available btw, it’s pretty boss!

I wonder if they go with an opposite color contrast since Penn State will most likely be wearing white bottoms to go along with the white out; similar to last year vs. Ohio State.
