The two losses came against Notre Dame, with Navy's starting QB out, of course, and to fellow American Conference member, North Texas.

Navy has clinched a tie for 1st place in the conference and is in the (sea)hunt for the PO's G6 spot.

Not much. I don't want A&M to lose or anything else that could lift the Ducks into the top 4.

That win in Iowa City should be given more credit than it is getting. Iowa is demolishing Nebraska in Lincoln today.

Iowa will be 8-4 with the four losses:

13-16 at Iowa State, on a late field goal

14-20 vs Indiana, with a Hoosiers late TD pass

16-18 vs Oregon, on a late field goal

21-26 at USC, after leading at half-time
