14 hours ago14 hr Administrator No. Damn...I have some stuff to get done today, but there is too much compelling football on! Gotta scout out teams that we may play later...Let's discuss in this thread--how much mayhem do we want? Mr. FishDuck
13 hours ago13 hr Moderator No. With Lane possibly post-game missing, will the Ole Miss players give an Egg about today's game or, will they be missing. As Nick Saban pointed out on the last GameDay, it's terrible to have the players put into this position. In this week's press conference, Kiffin said the players are 'transaction oriented' and don't care that much about who is coaching them. 🤮Good luck to the program that makes a guy who has won nothing of note the highest paid coach in CFB history.
13 hours ago13 hr Moderator No. Don't Give Up the Ship! 9-2 Navy sank Memphis last evening, 28-17.The two losses came against Notre Dame, with Navy's starting QB out, of course, and to fellow American Conference member, North Texas.Navy has clinched a tie for 1st place in the conference and is in the (sea)hunt for the PO's G6 spot.https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/tecza-horvath-help-navy-beat-035751665.html

10 hours ago10 hr No. That win in Iowa City should be given more credit than it is getting. Iowa is demolishing Nebraska in Lincoln today.Iowa will be 8-4 with the four losses:13-16 at Iowa State, on a late field goal14-20 vs Indiana, with a Hoosiers late TD pass16-18 vs Oregon, on a late field goal21-26 at USC, after leading at half-time
9 hours ago9 hr No. I want zero chaos. I hope every team in the Top 10 wins. Oregon misses the BIG championship game and has a chance to get healthy. Oregon ends up with the 5 or 6 seed and gets a home playoff game. Miami stays home.
9 hours ago9 hr Moderator No. Not These TWO, but 11 Utes, pluck Jay's Hawks - 31-21. No. 13 Utah finishes 10-2.

A 4-loss Iowa deserves to be ranked over a 4-loss AZ or ASU.
9 hours ago9 hr Moderator No. Lane's No. 7 Rebels don't miss a beat-down of the Cowboy Crazies, 38-19—no bowl for Miss Stark, and a worse loss for ASU in Starkville. Post-game, Lane Spur(ns) the Gators. Still no clue on whether he will Baton down LSU?

8 hours ago8 hr No. In the final regular-season game of his college career, Iowa quarterback Mark Gronowski made history. The Hawkeyes' signal-caller rushed for 64 yards in his team's 40-16 win at Nebraska on Nov. 28, increasing his season rushing total to 491 yards, breaking the program's single-reason record by a QB.The previous record was held by Kenny Ploen, who set the previous high mark at 487 yards in 1956. Ploen was the MVP in the 1957 Rose Bowl win over Oregon State.Gronowski had a net 25 vs Oregon, in a bad weather game where 42% of the Hawkeyes total yards came from rushing.
6 hours ago6 hr No. What a screw up by the GT head coach. Wasted a time out challenging a spot that was off by inches, leave his offense 13 seconds left instead of almost a minute, but his players still fighting giving them a chance with a hail Mary.16-6 final Georgia wins. Georgia offense couldn't move the ball. I think their OL is a weakness this year, and QB Stockton is mid. Edited 6 hours ago6 hr by Solar
6 hours ago6 hr Moderator No. As noted by friend Solar, Dawg does not bite Man, but does sting Yellowjackets.UGA 16 -Tech 9.My guess is that Kirby knows the Smart approach is for Bama to play A&M in the SEC champ game.

Once done with decorating, however, it was time to plop myself down on the Barcalounger and focus. 😁
2 hours ago2 hr Moderator No. It ain't over until...OK, it's over. With a few minutes left, the Cigs are smoking Poor Doo 56-3. And the final score is Indiana 56 - Purdue 3,One half of the conference champ game is set.Going to have to spend some cash if you want to watch the B1G title game in Indianapolis, a one-hour drive north of fraternity row.For this short a trip, no more than one six-pack per Hoosier required 🤪.
2 hours ago2 hr Moderator No. ESPN is going to battle hard for Texas to get a playoff spot. I would guess A&M drops behind all of the other one-loss teams. How far will be determined by how Oregon does against Washington.
2 hours ago2 hr No. Teams at the top of the SEC standings with A&MGeorgiaOle MissAlabamaTexasOklahomaVanderbiltTennesseeWhich of these teams has A&M played this season? Answer: Texas. That's it: Texas. They did win 41-40 at Notre Dame.
2 hours ago2 hr No. Alabama will beat Georgia again in the SEC title game and we are still alive for 1-2-3 B1G in the final playoff rankings. It’s a beauty contest right now between Oregon and Texas Tech for #3. Edited 2 hours ago2 hr by mikethehiker
1 hour ago1 hr No. "TAM loses. What will this do to our seeding??"Assuming the Ducks win, then not much. Ole Miss will be jumped by the Committee over Oregon. Thus, 3) Georgia, 4) Ole Miss, 5) Tex Tech. Perhaps the question will be whether A&M can take the 6-spot from Oregon.....SEC, SEC, SEC strength of schedule....but look at my earlier note above about A&M schedule which the Committee will ignore. There's still Saturday's games to be played, plus conference championship games in SEC and Big12 which could mess with the highest seeded. As Al Davis said, "just win baby!"
1 hour ago1 hr Moderator No. 20 minutes ago, Jon Sousa said:TAM loses. What will this do to our seeding??The Eyes of Texas, Sark, and Sankey are on the PO committee, and Texas wants to see Tennessee hand Vandy, a team the Horns defeated, its third loss. Ditto for LSU defeating Oklahoma to give a 3rd-loss to another team Texas defeated. 3-loss Texas would have a solid case to be ranked higher than Vandy and Oklahoma. Then: "We could have played Wazzu instead of TOSU!" But even if the above happens, Texas is ranked behind a Utah team that won today to finish 10-2, and BYU is odds-on to defeat UCF in Logan and finish 11-1 with the B12 champ game left to play. I don't think the committee would knock an 11-2 BYU out of the field with a champ game loss to Texas Tech. Texas Tech should win at W VA tomorrow to finish 11-1, but ...With the A&M loss, Georgia is now back in Atlanta next Saturday for the SEC champ game and will rematch against Alabama again if the Tide defeats Auburn. If Auburn defeats Bama, UGA will play Ole Miss. Kiffin's camp says he'll make up his mind to stay or go on Saturday. How about Lane bolts and Ole Miss under an interim coach wins the SEC and a spot in the Sugar Bowl? 🤪 OBD defeats UWho and could climb to the 5th seed, but 11-1 A&M has a win over Notre Dame, and a case for the 4th or 5th seed. A 6th seed would be just fine for the Ducks.Stay tuned. More Chaos is likely on the way.

9 minutes ago9 min Moderator No. The Territorial Cup is headed south to Tucson.No. 25 Arizona 23 - ASU 7. AZ finishes 9-3, ASU 8-4. For OBD's SOS, I'm hoping AZ drops out of the top 25, and one of 8-4 Iowa or (knock wood) 8-4 UW are ranked in the committee's penultimate ranking. Neuter the Huskies!
