USC Getting Top Receiver from Pitt on 'Massive' NIL Deal and Pitt's Coach Doesn't Like It

SC recently signed Eric Gentry who would have started at LB for ASU. 1 reason Gentry left ASU was the lack of good NIL deals for ASU players. ASU has not yet finished setting up an "NIL Collective.'

If SC buys Addison; well. that's the name of today's game. Has to happen on or before tomorrow for Addison to be eligible in 2022

This looks like Twitter nonsense to me but? Slovis has not looked all that good at Pitt so far. Addison could possibly make big NIL money and bigger NFL money catching passes from Caleb Williams in 2022?

All's fair nowadays.  Just sit back and observe (not enjoy) all this S.

Roster tampering goes on all the time but it is getting more and more blatant.

This is really difficult to enjoy. TEOCFBAWKI- The end of college football as we know it.

It will not change things for Oregon football for three, if not four years.  By then--things may change, but if not--enjoy the next three years while we can!

Wealthy alums using money to help recruit players isn’t anything new.

However, the buy in to get a seat at the championship table is probably getting more expensive than most anticipated.

Good coaching only will get you so far….now the need for NIL $$$ to attract and then also keep good players is necessary to compete at a high level.

What else should we expect from la la land. It's the home of being phoney. I just can't believe it not going to have a negative effect on their team chemistry.

What star HS players are going to sign up with them knowing that USC is going to tamper with stars on other teams bring them in and cause u to not play?

Sounds like a transfer to USC, a running back needs to renegotiate his NIL...since he is a proven commodity?  USC...where great running backs go to Dye.

Mr. FishDuck

I know the rules don't apply to USC but isn't the fall eligibility deadline tomorrow?

Yes tomorrow and yes regarding SC and the rules. But if the young man enters the portal before day's end tomorrow he is fair game thereafter and eligible in 2022.
