DanLduck No. 2 Share Posted May 2, 2022 So now we will have 6 scholarship players as RB's and 2 walk-ons. Seems like a lot.

I'm guessing a Division 2 running back who had a 27 carry, 120 yard season is not on scholarship at Oregon.

Even though we didn't see too much of a run offense during the spring game I do think this indicates two things. 1. Oregon is going to have a run heavy offense. 2. The coaches don't feel too comfortable with the current depth.

The offer could be something like come as a walk on and earn a scholarship... Or throw some NIL money in there to make a walk on effectively a scholarship. I would be more surprised if it was as anothr scholarship player. Oregon doesn't have that many scholarships to work with right now. Especially since it sounds like they might be after some more defensive linemen.

The former Nebraska DL Jordan Riley appears set to complete his transfer to Eugene. In addition I saw this morning Casey Rogers, another Cornhusker DL projected starter, is a possible Oregon addition.
