It helps.  Now just one team from SEC goes I think 

A 2 loss Alabama is a lot better for us. 

I doesnt change the equation for the Ducks playoff hopes at the moment. They only have control over one thing and that is winning. 

 

Bama still plays ole miss and Georgia still plays Tennessee. Need those games to shake out too. 

 

But could this be the beginning of the end of the reign of Saban. Not just this loss but last year Saban did lose to former coordinators for the first time in his career. First to Jimbo then to Smart. 

 

Saban is still a very good coach but he isn't invincible anymore it feels. 

Alabama will drop to 8, no less. This was a great game.

I just watched the game of the year.   Bama loses.   One domino that was needed to get to playoffs , just fell.  

 

Now USC needs to beat Utah.

I believe now we need Georgia to beat Tennessee and Georgia to beat Alabama in the SEC championship. And some general mayhem wouldn't hurt.

Amazing game. This is why we watch. That field of orange was a sight to see.

I hope they don't just switch spots as the Big 12 is looking pretty weak this year.

Step one of my predictions has come true:

1) Tenn beats Bama ✔️

2) Georgia beats Tenn on 11/5
3) Bama beats Ole Miss on 11/12
4) SEC Championship Bama beats Georgia.

Leading to FOUR 1-Loss SEC teams. 

Boy do they know how to setup a schedule in the SEC.

Sounds good but would like to see Old Miss or Georgia beat Bama just to make sure they don't make it the big show.

most exciting game I've watched in a long time. Sad to say it but isn't a team in the PAC 12 right now that plays even remotely close to that level of football.

I guess, it has been a long time coming for the Vols.  So kudos to them.  It was a fun game to watch.  But I must admit, hearing Rocky Top so often brings back painful memories for me.

Would love to see Ducks slip into the 4th seed with Dawgs as the one. Dawgs might still win but it won't be the same story line. Be a great measuring stick for Ducks progress.
