That’s way cheaper than what many of us paid for Penn State tickets. My guess is distance is playing a factor along with fans waiting until the semi-finals and championship games to make a serious investment into their teams.

I love tradition, but not with venues. Either make all playoff games (except national championship) home games for the highest seed, or select a venue as equidistant as possible between the two opponents.

This is one of the reasons bowl season doesn’t really get me excited. All the good ones are reserved for the playoffs and the non-playoff teams get stuck with the leftovers.
